Subject: at T1, anybody sit/kneel down to put on socks and shoes?I HAVE to wear socks. And I cannot seem to put on socks and shoes standing up. (I wear running shoes for the biking, not clips ). and, I have to TIE my shoes, as I did not get shoelace locks in time for the race this weekend. This is my first tri, and I have practiced the transition many times, and I have watched movies, etc. I just seem to be so wobbly after the swim (I'm good swimmer, and I swim in hard ) that my coordination is better sitting down. But everything I read says "don't sit down!". As you can see, I'm a novice. But my goal is to do this one, learn, and make decisions about what to improve on in the future (biking shoes, etc. ) But for now, any advice on this Transition? Amy |
