Veteran  291   Just South of Disorder |  Subject: What do you wear when you are swim training?Pretty simple question but I am not sure of the answer. What do you wear when you are swim training? During the summer months I always wear board shorts so when I train I wear my board shorts. If I do a swim bike brick I will wear my tri shorts but I was just wondering what most of you wear when you are training in the pool and does it make a difference? Board Shorts are pretty baggy. |

I used to wear the brief style but felt pretty exposed. Kind of embarrassing that my legs are too skinny for the Jammers. Most are so long that they were kind of floppy by my knees. I feel really comfortable in the water in the square/box leg. They are streamlined and flex well. However, I will not pose for pictures in them. |

When I swam in college, I always wore a worn out suit over my regular suit for drag, or I wore a pair of these:  You work a little harder in practice, and when you hit the water in your regular suit for a race, you feel like superman. |
