Expert 1002 | Subject: RE: Does it look bigger to you? You needed to shoot it when it was low to the horizon, with trees or buildings around to really see how much bigger it was. I tried shooting it for a good hour, but got nothing particularly useful. And I was freezing my butt off. So how the heck did you shoot that thing so clearly? |

But seriously, that's a great shot. We had a big storm last night, and didn't get to see the moon at all. I'm hoping it will stay mostly clear tonight so we can at least say we saw the almost-super moon. |

You could see a shadow behind every object. My neighbors were out playing basketball and you honestly didn't need any other lighting. Oh yeah, fishing was beyond incredible says a few buddies who went sword fishing and went 3/5. |

The moon here looked enormous at both horizons, although bigger on the dawn one, I thought. Also, it was almost painfully bright during the night. For sure one could easily wander around without a light. In fact I went to go look for Suicide by moonlight. |
