Subject: RE: Visor or Cap?Curious where you live. I also live in the tropics and I use both; doesn't seem to make much difference in comfort levels. I have a white visor and a blue running cap of some light, quick-drying material (wearing in avatar at finish of an Oly with temps in the mid 90's ). I have dark hair so probably absorb just as much heat with the visor as with the cap. I tend to train with the visor and race with the cap--it's a bit less likely to blow off--races usually involve some oceanside running and it can be breezy. The sponge in the cap trick is great as is the sponge or ice cube in the tri-top or jog-bra. Don't know if that works for guys, though! |
