Pro ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Please post your username and goals for the total amount of miles or time (but not both) you are pledging to cycle for the month of June. Guidelines (or, the world according to Renee + Goddess Hottie): The purpose of this challenge is to encourage the attainment of a specific TITS goal. TITS can be measured as distance or time. Any goal over 100% will be tossed out for the purposes of calculating the winning team. Calculate and pledge your goal for the month of June. Races apply toward the count. Anounce your goal in this thread by June 1; you will then be added to the roster. You are responsible for reporting your weekly volume to your team captain. Final numbers will be independently audited and verified by KPMG LLP or, in the event of their slacking, by me. Participants must blog their TITS. If it's not blogged, it didn't happen for the purposes of this Challenge. Reporting week begins Monday and ends Sunday. Please report weekly numbers by Monday morning. There is no credit for going over your miles + no cumulative team miles ... but note that there is substantive penalties for over-pledging and not meeting your goal. Please pledge your miles based upon your training plan. Rule of thumb is that this month should not be substantially more (or less) than 10% of your last month's volume. Yes, we want the girls to go down ... but not at the expense of injury. This purpose of this challenge is to provide motivation to get your butt out of the air-conditioning and into the saddle. These miles pledged here will pay dividends throughout the rest of the summer. Thus far the following have committed:

I know I'm only going to be at home on Oahu for 3 wks of June, and I'll have my nephew here for a three week visit (I'm making excuses so I won't look like such bottom dweller),........So, I figure I'll have 4 or 5 days to ride, so I'm going to attempt my usual 100 miles for the month.
