![]() | ![]() Andy Reid heading to Kansas City. "They got some pretty little ladies there and he's gonna get him some..."
As some of us suspected, he's looking to build that team. I'm happy for my in-laws who have stuck with the Chiefs for the rough years. |

Decades even. She is a die hard fan. She remembers the Makavik years. I hope this is a turn around for them. And for her. All she wants is to see them win the big one. Once. Just once. |

Champion ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Funny how many people had him already standing on the AZ sideline. He's got a great LeSean McCoy-like RB to start with and the makings of a solid D, but he's going to need a QB. Reid is also a big believer in building a team from the interior lines out, so I would think they'd use draft picks there and try to hang on to D-Bowe for the time being. It's also interesting that both Reid and Oakland GM are products of the Green Bay system-- should make for some interesting divisional battles between teams with similar offenses and philosophies. |

Elite ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Back in my younger days, I remember how much I hated the Chiefs. Derrick Thomas would always destroy the Seahawks. They have some decent players on their team like Charles, but they really need a solid QB. Unfortunately for them, they have the #1 pick in a year that it's not really that valuable. |

Pro ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Good for Andy. Clearly he wanted to be there, and they wanted him in return. He is a great offensive head coach. Also a good chance to get his personal life in order with a new city. Plus he needs to be in a cold climate. AZ would have been rough - he just doesn't belong in shorts and a t-shirt. |

My wife's grandfather rooted for them when they were the Dallas Texans. Then they moved closer to him. How funny is it that the AFC West has some of the toughest home fields (Arrowhead, cold, windy, loud crowds and Mile High, altitude) and some of the easiest (San Diego, who wouldn't want to be outside in SD? and Oakland, the black hole hasn't been very menacing the last few years). |

I love Arrowhead. Just a great, great stadium. Timeless really. |

That's all Eagles fans wanted. They still want it. The Chiefs may get there, but I doubt they will win it. Tell your wife and her folks to get used to a few key phrases: I have to do a better job |

I will take 6 easy wins a year no problem! Indeed, I don't see where everyone thinks he is such a great coach, he has been horrible for the last 3 years IMO. Bad clock management, bad team management, horrible play calls, horrible personnel management, etc. Benching McNabb? Building a team around Vick? How many good running backs have been sacrificed at the altar of the Eagles? My best friend and football watching buddy is an Eagles fan so I watch them most weekends. I haven't been impressed by Reid in a long time. My friend for one is overjoyed that they finally lost enough games to get rid of him. |

Again, you need to watch the commercial (referenced above). For those who can't see youtube at work: The commerical from 2003 showed an old man painting a big C-H-E-F-S in the end-zone at Arrowhead. Then one of the players walked-up and said "Looks good, but who are the Chefs?" Old man says "Great Googally-Moogally". Narrator says "not going anywhere for a while, grab a snickers." |

I will take 6 easy wins a year no problem! I agree with Oakland deserving their despair, but how does SD deserve theirs? Because they're too classy? Or because they dance after every good play even when they're losing by 30 points? SD should come-back. They have been weighed-down for the last 5 years with NORV. No coach has done less with so much talent. If you can't tell, I'm a big Bolts fan. |

He was a disaster - 7 turnovers and completely off his game. Vick looked to fit ideally into the Reid offensive scheme - highly mobile QB who could throw accurate short passes. What is unforgivable is their terrible defense the last 3 years, and the fact that Andy should have taken time off for personal reasons. His decision making the last 2 years has been bad. There is also the issue of Reid versus GM Howie Roseman, which he will not have in KC. Andy has definitely made some poor recruiting choices. But he is still a winning coach, and I bet he wins in KC. |

I had a problem with all the pass play calling. Vick is known to throw picks and has only gotten worse with time, but still the Eagles were 7th overall in pass attempts this season. Not great play calling when your QB is no good IMO. |
