HAPPY SPRING!!!!!
Back into the 20's this weekend but then a warmup!!

| Member 326 | Subject: RE: Happy Spring!!! Yeah, spring. More like winter. Today, winds picking up to over 60 km/hr from the north. 5 cm of snow with windchills of below -30 C. Day time "high" temperatures of -16 to -19 C. The 7 day forcast has no day time highs with temperatures above zero. We have so much snow sitting on the ground that I bet it will be at least mid May before it is all melted. |

Master 1457 MidWest | Subject: RE: Happy Spring!!! I am so ready for Spring! Yesterday was absolutely gorgeous! Took the grandson out to play on his new 3 wheel scooter (thanks to his great-grandma!) and little red car. Opened the windows to let in some fresh air! Worked out in the yard to remove some of the winter garbage. Not as nice today but still nice enough to be outside. Seems like the weather has been mimicking my moods this year! Must stay in a positive mood from now on!

Master 8250 Eugene, Oregon Bronze member | Subject: RE: Happy Spring!!! There was an article in a local magazine about how the "winter" in Southern Vietnam has been the longest and coldest on record. Morning temps even fell repeatedly to......gasp......17. Wait, that C, not F......you can do the math. Anyway, somewhere in the low to mid 60s. Have seen my thermometer go down to 61 (I live along a river so cooler there than at the airport weather station). In other words, I could actually enjoy my morning runs/rides. Now it's back to normal "spring" weather. March and April are hottest--no cloud cover, highs in the upper 90s, heat index can go up to 120s. Ugh. we're probably one of the few places in the world that doesn't look forward to spring. |
