Garmin Sync issues

Member  259   Oviedo, Florida |  Subject: Garmin Sync issuesI haven't been able to sync with Garmin Connect in two days. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same problem. I did go in and re-authorize Garmin to sync with BT. |

Garmin migrated their syncing magic (API) and they let us know and said they would get our users over to the new one. We helped them do some cleanup but looks like it didn't go smoothly for everyone. We'll keep you updated. |

New user 5 Needham, Massachusetts | Subject: RE: Garmin Sync issues I'm having the same issue. Garmin hasn't synced since November 30th. I've tried completely disconnecting, rebooting and reestablishing the connection. The connection is successful, but the log is not syncing. I'm just now seeing it's not specific to me. I see some others, but not all are experiencing this problem. I look forward to learning the solution. |

Garmin has provided a "backfill" tool that will re-send any workouts for the past seven days, so they will all come back in. Thanks for your patience as we work to re-jigger our systems to match the change Garmin made. |

I'm so sorry if some were missed. Does there seem to be anything in common among the ones that didn't come in? (Date range, type of workout, device sent from?) Thanks for the acknowledgement. Garmin did warn us ahead but assured us everything would just smoothly transition (except for the users who had duplicate accounts and the same Garmin ID). |

The only one that looks like it didn't make it for me was Monday December 6. Everything else appears to be correct (including today!) |

I'm sure average pace is simple arithmetic between two fields... are both of these fields still coming in from Garmin? Or maybe Garmin was sending average pace (I see that calculation on my watch even before I save the workout) and they are now not sending that bit of data? I will ask the Garmin rep. |

I think that it may no longer be adding the average pace for runs? All I know is that average pace used to be automatically calculated and now it is not. |
