I started off with a bang and a 50 mile ride on 4/1.  That for me, is a huge distance and something I've only gotten up to a couple of times before.

I feel definitely challenged by this goal, hope I can actually do it.

So, how's it going for everybody?

Glad I only signed up for veteran level, that's going to be a big enough challenge for me.  I think I'm on track so far...  42 mile ride today - but I gotta get some more running miles in...

Outstanding stuff, Jorge.  Thanks for keeping track.

I'm WAAAY behind on the bike 'cause I tweaked my back...but right on schedule for swim & run. Looks like a few trainer rides this week to get me back closer to schedule.  In the end, I don't think I'll make the full 500...and if I do, it'll be at the expense of being smrt...smart, smart, smart.

Did I write this? I'm in pretty much the same boat, but I'm behind in all. The run and swim will be safe enough to meet, but I'm not sure I'll hit my 400 on the bike.

I'm now at 158, only 75% of where I should be, and facing some downtime later in the month. I'd blame the weather if I didn't know most of you guys have had it worse. Time to get busy and hope for sunny skies!

My running and swimming are way ahead, as I expected, but biking is lagging badly. Weather has been a significant factor here too and it's still snowing as I type this. I've been trying to make some up indoors, but am finding it hard to build a lot of mileage on rollers. My commitment was fairly cautious though so I think I can still catch up, if the sun will ever shine.

Ok I am whining here, but this weather is really beginning to p*ss me off. Forecast for the weekend up here in Boston is rain (maybe some snow) with temperatures around 30s, low 40s, wtf? It seems the weather is making this even more challenging for most of us. *sigh*

I got out of a rough string of graveyard shifts Monday morning which puts me waaaaaay behind on the bike; getting a decent amount of daytime sleep hours was my priority.

Now that I am over that rough stretch, I find myself in the same boat as many of you guys and girls, the weather is not cooperating very much here either.

Time for some looooooong trainer rides over the next few days!

I'm still in decent shape distance-wise. My next few weeks are pretty stacked. But I picked up and OLY next weekend, and I had a four hour ride planned for the day before. I can add some distance to a few rides later in the month to get it done. I'm looking at being between 40 and 55% complete by mid-month.

Not the weather, there is actually some sort of anti-tri evil in the air.
Case in point:
Monday the pool ate my suit (wed, I swam in what was left of the suit - might be a bit stubborn)

Last night, went to fitness center for some trainer/treadmill bricks, 3 kids were in there smoking pot! They ran off and I gave chase for a min until I realized there was not a whole lot I could do if I caught them (I might be 120 soaking wet in the remains of my bathing suit).

So, gonna try to swim again today, probably be a gator in the pool or something....
