With 10 days left in the month I need 30 more run miles to reach my goal.  Have totally derailed off my training plan but trying to get back on schedule.  How is everyone else doing?

I had 3 goals. Due to some bad back pain, I missed a few workouts.

I have 10 days to get 24 miles in for running - I may be able to get that.
My bootcamp goal won't be met especially since I think that's where I hurt my back.
I have 10 days to do 315 minutes of swimming -may be able to get 75%.

Got 3 miles in tonight, so now I have to get in 21 miles by month end.

I did an unplanned HM on Saturday which I'm having to take a few days to recover from.  Should still be ok.  Going to hit the trainer this evening.  I'm hoping to avoid any last minute drama hitting my goals so will keep pushing.

Hi guys.
I saw my Dr and the good news is she thinks the dizziness and confusion are 'common' post concussion issues that will resolve.

I am off work for two weeks, no running till dizziness improves but I am happy with her optimism.

5.5 miles down with 20 minutes of tempo.  That was tough!

So glad to hear that Mary. I hope you can take advantage of the two weeks to rest up and relax.

I've been having a bit of an up-and-down week with training; the downside is I'm not managing the volume I had hoped for, but on the upside I completed my first sprint distance tri on the weekend. Caught a couple of jellyfish on the swim, was lapped by everyone-I mean everyone- on the bike, and was pretty slow on the run but I had a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to the next one. Maybe before the next race I'll even manage to save enough money for a shiny new road bike and I can leave my mountain bike at home in the shed

I caught a cold and missed a week or more. Today I calculate that with 1 week to go I need to run a 10k every day to make my 70 mile goal! Probably not going to happen, but I can get close! I also need to do some weight training sessions.

Scary accident! Glad you are on the mend. Yeah, you don't want to be running dizzy. My recollection from having a concussion is that you need to sleep a lot to let your brain heal. And yeah, it takes some time to feel normal again.
