Abi-Maria is so over-the-top annoying, physically weak and just plain dumb that I started wondering if this is a strategy?  

 The chances of winning Survivor are only 1-in-18, of course you can improve them if you have a very strog charisma, some physical skill and a whole lot of luck.  Abi maria may realize she has little of the first two. But by being a complete twat she can basically guarantee that everyone will want to take her into the final two as she has no chance of winning. That almost guarantees her the $100k second place. 

Then again, she seems way to dumb to have planned all that out...

So far she has to be on the list of the worst at challenges also just because she can't do any. In the past at least the annoying people would win a challenge or two but she is just useless which does make her a good choice to take to the end. I would just love to hear her delusional speech about how she deserves the money then how she reacts to all the people being mean to her with questions.

I'm sorry, you can't be that clueless. It isn't a cultural/language barrier thing. I think gloating and throwing a "win" in a "loosers" face is pretty universal. You don't come back and tell starving people how full you are and how much food you ate. I don't buy the tears. Not that she is incapable of being hurt, but just that she can't not know...

So Pete, ya, he's gone. Nice scramble.

Lisa, pretty tired of the self discovery journey. She's cool... but ya. The sticking to the alliance got old... and then trying to make it sound nice... just be done. Sticking with Skupin "might" work.

Skupin... he really did have a good offer. Getting rid of Malcolm would have been a good thing for his game... but so was getting rid of Pete. And Malcolm on the jury might not have got you that million after making your promise.

Penner... making smart moves. He will still be on the chopping block once Abi is gone. Can't fault anything he is doing, playing a real smart game. I like him. Almost a sure winner if he makes it to final 3.

FINALLY SOMEONE SAID IT! Denise at tribal talking about how past season players take the weak to win by default... Fight for it! Denise is a tough competitor, but I don't know if her size holds her back on some challenges. She is sort of short. I always root for her. Nothing wrong with sticking with Malcolm.

Malcolm... balls of steel. Seriously. Not playing the idol when he does not know for sure... wow. Him and Denise taking Skupin and Lisa to final 4 is a smart move for Malcolm and Denise. Lise and Skupin not so much. He is playing a great game.

And so let's take a look at this... if Abi goes next week... you have six players that have all won a challenge except for Lisa. You have six players that are not hated and all 6 have a legitimate case to make at final tribal council. Sure, maybe some have a better case than others, but all have a legitimate case. How awesome is that... that the weak and hated are not being dragged along? I love it, this is shaping up to be the toughest 6 I remember in a  long time. This is by far one of the best season in a while now. Like they said... let's get to 6 and then fight it out!

Everyone still has a great shot.... but I suspect Penner will still be in the bullseye, and Malcolm is probably thinking he can beat Skupin at final. Carter is vullnerable, Lisa is vullnerable just because she probably won't win immunity.... we'll see if the alliance of 4 holds up and who will not make it to 3.

Here is my read on how the game is shaping up and the odds of winning it all...

Malcom: (odds 1:3) Best placed to make it to final vote and most likely to win the whole shebang. Why: He's physically the strongest competitor, he's extreemly charismatic and charming. He has a good grip on human nature and can manipulate people with a simle. Look for him to run for some political office in 2016.

Carter (odds 1:5):  Being quiet and introvetrted he hasn't burned any bridges or annoyed people but his lack of charisma may be a hold back. I think Malcom will turn on him since Carter is a very physically fit competitor,  but if Carter makes the final 3 with Malcom and Denise there is a good change many of the Red and Yellow jury members will vote for him.

Denise (odds 1:6): Fierce competitor, best swimmer in the group and a sharp judge of Character. She is likely to make it far as she and Malcom have a good bond but her lesser charisma and charm will keep her from winning if she makes it to the final with Malcom. 

Penner (odds 1-7):  Intelligent, crafty and manipulative but has a grating personality that makes people like to dislike him. It would take a few minor miracles for him to reach the final 3  but he might be able to manipulate some people into making miracles happen. If he makes the final 3 he's dangerous as he can argue that he's a true survivor since people were gunning for him since day 15.

Skupin (odds of wining 1:20, odds of hurting himself again: 100%): A nice guy but to flaky and uneven to be a real threat.  He will get out witted, outplayed and outlasted by the stronger players.

Lisa (odds: 1:50)  She lacks the wits, charisma and fire to win this. When she tried to make a move (on Malcom) it was half-hearted and failed... making her grovel for forgivness afterword. No jury will give her the win but that might make her an attractive 'gimp' to take to final three

Abi-Maria (odds 1:10,000) Dumber than a rock, little physical ability, no charisma, and the social skills of a baboon. Probably the worst, least self-aware player in the history of the show. No one wants her around and no one believes she deserves to win.

I think once Abi is gone it will be very interesting. I'm waiting to see if someone flips next week as a preemptive strike. I think of the 6 Carter has the weakest case to win so he would be someone I would take alone to the end.

He seemed pretty worthless in the beginning, but he is doing really good now in challenges. He might ruin a few plans.

If it goes according to plan, the 4 stick together and Penner and Carter go and then I think it would be Lisa first... but no telling. It will really depend on who wins immunity... Carter can really throw a wrench in it if it is his turn. The "4" then need to get rid of someone... Lisa is not a real threat.. and the others might lick their chops with Malcolm or Denise... Denise right now is aiding Malcolm, so get rid of her, who is a threat to win anyway, and then you really weaken Malcolm.

But just all this talk with all these particular players... best season in a while. Rob and Ozzi were great just for the sheer dominance... but this has really been a very competitive game with no clear dominating alliances. I think it has been great.

... ohhh... and after this week... does she still remind you of your ex?

I finally was able to watch last weeks episode (away for the holiday).  I enjoyed it in a weird way.  I'm glad they (the producers) just picked on Abi the whole show.  Showing all her gloating, her completely idiotic mistake in the game and her admitting she had no clue what they were doing/playing.  Her going on "strike" and all her back pedaling.  Playing up to the jury (including RC who she HATED), Jeff called her out, and then forgets the torch.  Too funny.

But at the same time, I agrivates me to know end to see someone so mean, delusional, unaware, physically useless...  But the good thing is, is that her true colors were shown.  Many people like that seem to fly under the radar in life.

Looking forward to this weeks show about her and any Ponderosa videos if she gets booted AND the reunion...

great season so far.  fortunately (and unfortunately) there are several extremely likable contestants.  

Denise, Skupin, Penner, Lisa, even Malcolm to an extent...great folks.

I can't wait for the next episode!

Never watched them before, but did watch the RC set (and a few of the baseball players clips) on your advice. I trust you to point out the good ones.

Just watched them.... Pete is an even bigger DB than I thought. wow.

Well, in his defense, RC was being a bit of a bwitch.  She is not grasping reality that this was a GAME and you got OUTPLAYED and you can't play hindsight is 20/20...you have to let it GO.  Plus taking over the TV room is just RUDE.  That was fine when you were by yourself, but NOT COOL when it's a shared resource.

Not that I'm a fan of Pete, but RC is being childish.

He is VERY arrogant and a total DB. RC is annoying too but I would be able to deal with her but not him if I was there.

RC just has a childish need for someone to agree that she was right about things, and it made her feel great when Jeff appeared saying he regretted voting for her.  She's never going to hear that from Pete. He's a pretty big jerk and he could have easily said "Yeah, that would have been one way to handle things" to get her off his case.  He needs to realize that he, too, played poorly!  He clearly thinks his demise just happened to him (Lisa switched, RC was a b-word, etc) and he had no control.  Wrong.  I can sort of see why RC was pushing him, actually.

But yeah, the deal with the movie room is really dumb.  Very high schoolish behavior.

Ponderosa is so boring because  it's the misfits so far and they don't like each other and the personalities aren't appealing.  It's not fun to watch individual people lay around and do nothing.  At that point I would be so thrilled I at least made it to the jury I would try to have fun with it... I think.

Me too!  I don't honestly think I could ever actually WIN so I would be totally thrilled to at least make the jury!  I mean, they are getting PAID to be on VACATION and lounge around all day!  Plus they do take field trips (even if they aren't showing them on the ponderosa videos this time).

I guess for the last few rounds they've had some whole tribes end up at Ponderosa together because the stronger voting block voted out the weaker tribe...so...makes for a boring season, but good relations at Ponderosa!

YA, RC is 27, and she just seems really immature. Just something that does not seem right. It's just my assumption, but her being a successful athlete and quite bright... her mentality does not seem to fit her resume.
