Oh yah. I'm right there with you.  I've been doing the math all aftn. A year is enough time to save the required $$$...etc etc. But i'm going to sleep on it and on the idea of doing a 1/2 IM first.

I was supposed to be registering for this event tomorrow.

But I'm making myself learn to love being on my bike for at least 80 miles first. With those hills, I don't trust that I'd make the bike cutoff. Hopefully for 2010 though!

My friend Luis is having a great race! Better than his first IM in Florida, I think. He has  been suffering from IT band issues for a while...let's hope it's not an issue today
