Oh my. Those contestants are idiots. Let's see, it's in your CONTRACT that contestants might be brought back. Hum. But yet, morally you still see it as "wrong"? Come on. What a bunch of babies. Seriously.

Read the contract contestants before you sign.

I just watched the recorded show and I have read the 39 responses since the episode aired. I have nothing to add that hasn't already been said. Good night.

BikerGrrrl - 2012-04-19 4:06 AM I actually think Kim can do it.  When they showed her in the "off camera" shots, she had a bit of a spare tire.   They are wearing compression gear when we see them.  Also, she's at 41% weight loss as of the last show and Jeremy was at 38% I think (I did the math a few days ago).  She'd onloy need to lose another 10-15 lbs which is doable.  At 5'8'' I think 130s are reachable.  Not normal or maintainable, but reachable.

I agree.  I think she can shave down to 135, and dehydrate herself to 128ish.  Definately not maintainable, as she looks like she would be healthy at 155.

I seriously doubt the have 4-5 months between what we saw on Tuesday to the live finale.  More like 1...maybe 2 months.  We've already gone through about 15 episodes, which is probably about 4 months of real time (not every episode is 1 real week).  I doubt the contest actually lasts 8-9 months...especially since they usually have 2 seasons of TBL each year.  Last season only had 12 episodes before the finale...so this season is already "long" as it is.

It's typically 4 months on the ranch and 4-5 months at home after the ranch.  Remember the season the one contestant came to the finale 5 months pregnant?  She did not make that baby on the ranch!

That was season 3...10 seasons ago.  I don't think they do it that way anymore.  It was also during a time when TBL would only have one season each year (from 2004-2007).  Ever since 2008, they have been having 2 seasons each calandar year.  Erik won that season, and lost 90 pounds from the last episode to the finale...so yes, 4-5 months is very likely as that would have put him at about 1.7% per week loss while at home.

Last season, John and Antione lost 42 and 48 pounds from the last episode to the finale.  I seriously doubt that it took each of them 4-5 months to lose that kind of weight when $250k is on the line.  4-5 months is roughly 19 weeks.  At 250+ pounds, 1% is 2.5 pounds.  So you're basically saying they lost about 1% per week?  Doubt it.  At 1-2 months, or 6 weeks, it would be more like 3% per week.  Just seems a little more likely.

But maybe I'm wrong...just making observations...I really have no clue.

I can't pinpoint exactly where I heard it on the show, but last season I figured it out by all the numbers and clues they throw out on the show that it is about 6-8 weeks between them going home and the finale.

It's an ascot!!!

Also.... Buddy/Mark - they blew any chance they had of making any type of career change after of this show. All they had to do was stick around for a few more weeks, and let the chips fall where they may. Then after the show Mark can have a "MARK AND CHISM BOOT CAMP" and make oodles of $$ off of his locals trying to get into shape. Buddy could have done the same thing. Or speaking engagements, etc. That essentially went bust now. They can't spin this in the public eye. And they won't be back for the finale either.

I did notice the one brother wasn't there from the blue team either next week.

Mark has been a whiny child since day one, he had a few moments where he didn't look quite as bad as usual, but overall he has been a big baby. Also a bit thick when people are trying to talk to him, to say it goes against his morals to follow through on his word and a contract he signed is pretty ridiculous. But good riddance, glad that he won't prosper from being on the show.

Buddy seemed like a follower from day one and he proved that on this episode.

Kim seems to be growing as a person which is good to see as she was pretty nasty in some of the earlier episodes. Hope that changes continues.

I am hoping that Emily has done some growing up and gets back in for the finale. I think she could easily take it as she had some weight left on her when she left.

Should be interesting to see who gets back on.

If Chris wasn't going to be medically cleared they should have given her spot in the dash to someone else....

And I still think Conda and Jeremy are idiots.

Conda could EASILY take Kim if she works hard between now and the finale.  Jeremy should have tried for the at home prize...

Yes, a 2/3 chance of winning $250k is good, but they could have had $350k.

Conda & Jeremy seem very, very codependent. They're adults. She's an adult and she's too dramatic.

I applaud Kim & Cassandra. Both look great & have the right attitude that I think will make them successful in the long haul. Mike(?) did great too, losing over 100lbs at home!

I just watched the PVR'd episode from last week and then this week's episode.

Buddy, when he got into the van, said something like he wasn't going to play the game because he didn't like the rules now.  Ummmm, ok, so if you are playing a game, as long as the rules mean that you are winning, you will play, but the minute the rules don't suit you, you are taking your ball and going home?  WTF?

I just cannot believe that they were such whiny babies.  Those who were at home who lost weight, worked just as hard, IF NOT HARDER, as those on the ranch.  Unbelievable.  Buddy and Mark deserved to get their a$$es kicked off the show, never mind leaving.  Don't let the gate hit ya on the way out.

I agree with the comment about Kris not being medically cleared.  Good on Jeremy for winning his way back on.

Way to go Cassandra- was appreciative and grateful for her time on the ranch, for her second chance.  She will make it.  Conda said,"They shouldn't get a second chance."  Really?  I'm a teacher and she's a mother....does she really think people shouldn't get a second chance?  She doesn't think there's ever going to be a time when her little girl is going to need a second chance to make a better decision?  Huh.

What does Conda think of Jeremy getting a "second chance"? I also wonder what Mark thinks of Chisholm getting his second chance (not that it lasted long but he was still given the opportunity)? I agree that they all seem to like the rules as long as the rules are in their favor. Lots of growing up to be done, I'm afraid.Sad to see Emily go so soon. Jeremy should have taken the opportunity to win the at home prize...unless he thinks Conda just won't cut it in the end. I had hoped for a better ending. Not gonna happen now.

I agree, Jeremy and Conda are idiots. Well Jeremy is. Do they get something extra for being on the final except the chance to win $250k. Maybe Jeremy just doesn't have faith in his sister. Weird. And all that talk about "Jeremy deserves it", huh?

I don't remember ever hearing on the Biggest Loser about someone deserving it as much as I did in that episode.

That said, that final challenge had a big dose of HTFU in it. Out in the cold, standing on one leg for over an hour. Tough not to respect that.

My vote is for Kim to win it all. I am kinda shocked that the finale is next week. Usually I felt like in seasons past they give the competitors more time at home before the live finale than 1 week. I am used to seeing dramatic changes at the finale but I feel like next week I wont see much of a difference in the competitors. I mean, how much additional weight can they cut in 1 week? I am liking mike for the At home prize. He looked great and what an accomplishment to drop over 110lbs on his own. Conda and Jeremy annoy me so much, hope neither of them win.

dmbfan4life20 - I might be wrong, but I am assuming that this week's episode was filmed many weeks (months?) ago.  They have had time to lose more weight.  If not, they will be the fattest final 3 ever!

CONDA GROW UP.   I think Jeremy is young, irresponsible enough to excuse some of his behavior.  Conda has no excuse.  I would have have LOVED to see anyone other than Jeremy make it.  Ugh.

Otherwise, it was fun to see so many of them looking great.    I still love Cassandra, despite one or two poor choices towards the end.   But she is a tough girl.  Go Lauren and Mike, too!

That comment of Conda's bugged me too!  I mean, somewhat taken out of context I'm sure, but STILL...everyone deserves a second chance!

I think Lauren looked ADORABLE!  She's gonna be gorgeous/cute once she finishes her weight loss!  I was cheering for her.

Finally, there is a light at the end of the tunnel, that being the finale next week. This has been the least inspiring season ever on BL and I have watched them all. This “season of no excuses” has actually been a season of excuses, entitlement, and selfishness (some even at the expense of player’s own family members i.e. Buddy and Mark). I will watch it next week because I have already invested too much time in this season not to finish it. But, I am SOOO glad that it will end next week.

I believe that it may be time to either scrap this show completely or to drastically overhaul it. The concept has become stale and the producers are being forced to try and create drama through predictable game changers, constantly switching from teams to individuals within each season, and by casting the show with selfish, devious cast members. I will not watch another season like this one.

I would rather see a smaller cast so that you could get to know them all better. I would like to see cast members selected because of their potential to inspire others rather than their ability to generate interpersonal drama. I would like to see a yellow line from show one for eliminations and make it more about weight loss and less about game play. There would still be a sufficient amount of game play, but by making weigh loss a key factor each week it would at least get equal billing with the game play. I would like to see weekly follow ups with players who are sent home and maybe some features about how they are handling the pressures of work, home, and weight loss.

If you were the producers, what changes would you make?

Kinda makes me wonder if they didn't pick these big cry babies for this show just because it was the "season of no excuses". Perhaps they picked people they knew would do a lot of whining in hopes of curing their bad behavior and inspiring others to drop the cry baby, make excuses act.

If that is the case, the joke is on them. These people were apparently incurable.

No more voting someone off, make it a line on the chart.

Or if they do vote, make in anonymous. I'm tired of the blubbering at the table "this person is so inspiring and I love this person...blah blah blah". Oh, and if anyone uses the phrase "this person" give them an automatic 1lb disadvantage. I hate that.

I'd like to see more behind the scenes stuff, honestly. Heck, have a whole show of bloopers. We'd really get their personalities then.
