Since we're not financially in a spot to get her diamonds, I'm taking her to a baseball game....get it....Baseball Diamond. Would 2 'road beers' heading to the game be delinquently white trash or funny? She also HATES surprises (in that she wants to know what's going on) and I've been very tight lipped about it. I've been making her answer questions about the past 10 years. If she gets one right, I give a hint (some are pretty cryptic). When she gets one wrong, I've said things like "oh...swing and a miss" or "struck you out with that one". I also made a playlist (only because I couldn't find a blank CD to make a mixed tape) of songs from 2003. In Da Club - 50 Cent Cry Me a River - JT Rock your Body - JT Miss Independent - Kelly Clarkson Body is a Wonderland - John Mayer Jenny from the block - J.LO Here without you - 3 Doors Down Clocks - Coldplay Real Good Man - Tim McGraw Wave on Wave - Pat Green Where's the Love - Black Eyed Peas Landslide - Dixie Chicks Me and You - Kenny Chesney (techinally it was a song from 2000, but it was our first dance song). Thoughts on other things I can do? My mom is watching the babies that night..... |

I never knew that "MRI" stood for "lay in a torpedo tube while they perform construction all around you." The highlight of the morning was when a young nurse was watching a monitor and forgot that she had already moved me partway into the tube. She had her hand on my shoulder, took it off and then when she went to put it back without looking, it was on my thigh. Poor thing was so embarrassed. I don't know if this has happened to you, but I over heard her say she was going to ride her "bike" on her day off. So I instantly think to ask, what's her route? What does she ride? Trek? Cannondale? Then I look at the tats and backwards hat and attitude. and think... oh yeah, wrong bike. I have been embarrassed by assuming cycling with motorcycling on more than one occasion. |

They kept slowly moving me in and out of the small tube while there are a lot of noise. Things got pretty hot for a while so I was getting wet from the sweat.
