On a dog-eating-inappropriate-things note, we've been having problems with one of our dogs eating the newspaper and/or the bag it comes in if it's left within reach.  I think I finally figured out his motivation.  He sees the other dog bring in the paper every morning.  Every morning, he sits by the front door, looking forlorn and slightly confused when the other dog goes out to get it.  She "gits" it, sometimes a little too enthusiastically.  He's a border collie and very smart, so he makes lots of connections.  This is evidently is his attempt to "git" the paper too.  It's rather irritating when he gets a section we haven't read yet, but I can't entirely blame him.  Poor confused pup!

We had a guide dog school dropout that ate anything he could reach.  We learned this the hard way.  He taught us to be more careful.

Super YAY for a full Abled List! Still keeping Dazzer's little Finnie in my prayers.

I had a good race.  My team was the fastest of all the relays.  They extended the bike for 2.5 miles due to a detour from construction.

My pace was only 23.1 at 215W, which is pretty disappointing when I was a mile per hour faster last year on a similar course (didn't have power for that one).  I had a rough May as far as training goes with the honeymoon and my crash, so I expected some edge to be lost, but that was a rough ride for me. 

I'll get back into the groove.
