My relay team. We had a good time and one of the guys says he is up for another try next year. Seems they didn't realize how serious the "mountain" part of the race was going to be.

OK, manatees, break out the whips, lashes, cat-o-nine tails, etc. and let me have it.  I was B-A-D and didn't get to the pool this am.  My lame excuse is I blame one of my dogs - when my alarm went off for the first time she migrated from my feet up to my upper body and curled/snuggled up tight against my chest/stomach area and laid her head on my arm which was very comforting and sweet.  I know, terrible excuse.  I will not let the siren song of snuggly dogs keep me from the return to the pool on Wed!

Rumor has it you are not the only Manatee this exact sort of thing may have happened with today.

When when are you headed to the pool for your make up swim?  After work?

The ENABLER excuse does not fly here!  (BTW, is your dog named Tony? That seems to be a common enabler name!)

Sadly, no pool make-up today.  I only have access to that pool M, W, F am for Masters and I'm not up for shelling out extra $$ to go to the 'hot' pool at HARC.   I will subject myself to more upper body/core workouts today to make up for the swim.  And stretching.

Crazy, right? Some kill you quickly and some just take their time picking apart your legs.

Thanks for letting us know. I was wondering about her as well.

I bought a very nice mountain bike entirely by accident right after the New Year.

I need to add him to the Manatee Bike Gallery. His name is Rocky.
