I was a slug all weekend...  actually had family in town, but I probably could have squeezed in a workout or two...  anyway, short runs done on Friday and this morning...  still on track for the month though team!

I did nothing Friday and Saturday.  A little frustrating, but we had family stuff. I did get 5.4 miles in last night, which felt good.

Congrats, owlgirl, on a great race!

I hope everyone has a good day today. Our weather has turned -- the daycare provider had the heat on this morning, and it felt good. I can't quite do it in our house yet. I like to try to hold out at least until Halloween.

Shermbelle - 2011-10-16 11:40 PM Had a rough weekend but got in 2 more runs. Drove across Michigan yesterday to Detroit for a concert. Got home at 3:30 this morning, and had to be up at 6:45 for the GR Half Marathon. Yep I am tired.

Dude...that's crazy!  I don't think I could do that.

Ran today, 15 session down, 12 to go...also had some work done on my body - seems my right butt muscle is not firing...so when I run on hills my right leg get fatigued quickly, numb as well.   So here we go trying to figure out why...in the mean time, I will still fun, just shorter and slower.

Hi runners

I did 5k hard run at the end of the sprint tri i did sunday
it looks like it was my best 5k for the year
I am guessing a combination of cooler weather ;60F & overcast , flat smoothly paved straight course and a good warm up (swim and bike)helped me hit the ground running .

Will be upping mileage now that the two triathlons are done .

I am in trouble with the challenge!  I have a bad cold   I took off Friday due to aches/pains which I attributed to a flu shot.  Felt better on Saturday and Sunday and now I feel bad again.  There's no way I can get in all 20 runs and have to adapt the final two weeks of training before my half.  Sorry Midwest!

ashort33 - 2011-10-11 9:04 AM Alright team Midwest - The time to step up is now!  If you wait another week to "get it together" you will not have enough time to make up the workouts you missed!  Let's go Maniacs!

I am hoping that Keith/kahames is too busy running to update the spreadsheet and will be showing up by the end of the month.  Right, Keith?

Thats right I got back from vaca and working way to much.  Looks like I may need to run every day this month. Fun! Go Midwest.

Oh, no! I hope you begin feeling better. One of my students complained about ill effects after his flu shot this year, too. I hope it's just a coincidence.

Went out tonight between rain showers -- a short run -- 3.63 miles. It was a nice evening. I sure love running at night. I should have been doing this all along.

BEAUTIFUL Fall *wog* tonight!  My legs are killing me from Saturday and leave it to a good running buddy to make sure that I ran tonight to keep moving.  (going down stairs is NOT easy for me right now).

Anyhow... the colors out here are spectacular right now... almost every color imaginable (well except blue or purple   )

I'm at 64% of my BT goal and 50% of my training plan (which I know I won't hit all 100% of that).  Either way... this month will be the MOST mileage I've EVER logged running!  WAHOO!!!!

6 uncomfortable miles tonight. Tweaked both left knee and right ankle during a soccer game Sunday. Felt it. My legs don't like turf.
