There's a director level position open (one level up from current) for which I think I'd be at the top of the list but I've also been interviewing in another department for a job which is likely a better fit for my personality, skills, and career goals that's a "lamotion" (lateral promotion - get it?). I think deep down I know that the director position isn't what I want to be doing but I'm having a hard time with pushing away the prospect of a promotion, raise, and title for the 'ol resume. So that's my struggle today (on top of having work to do that I have absolutely NO desire to do). Otherwise, life's fantastic! |
