OK, I'll add to the chaos here.
As I've noted in the past, this is an extremely limited form of communication. We can't see facial expressions, tones of voice, we've probably not even MET via either email or phone the bulk of the people on ANY internet forum we frequent.
So, the style of how people write is not necessarily indicative of anything, without more context to add to the communication. (shrug). I'm a good writer, and I've gotten banged upon here and in other forums because my words were also read/interpreted much differently than how I typed them.
I think we all need to take a deep breath, sing kumbaya, and drink some of this Grape Koolaid. It is delicious...
