I'm definitely voting for Kristen just because male bashing is in my nature.  However, if anyone gets a picture of the post-race atomic wedgie, I want a copy!  (unless they rip, of course!)

BTW, occassionaly, you have one of those, "Now-This-Is-What-AlGore-Had-In-Mind-When-He-Invented-The-Internet-Moments" and reading Welshy and VL's logs over the last couple of days was one.

Makes me feel silly for taking my training all serious - counting down to April, obsessing over distances, planning, nutrition, etc. when fun is being had right under my nose.

P.S. VL, sleep in tomorrow, too.  Your body *needs* the rest.

Yeah, ya know, I'm gonna update my vote: The race will be harrowing. Welshy's forecasted hurricane will be a factor. Welshy and Vertical, so happy to be alive, cross the finish line simultaneously, holding hands and skipping. How about that?

All I can picture is some scene from Lord of the Rings, with the orcs about to run amok over humankind, and then WHAM! Somebody raises the CANDY APPLE RED JAMMERS!!!  The Orcs flee! Humanity is saved!!!

Those are some powerful jammers - mine just help me swim a little faster.

I'm leaning on the Welshy side.  Mostly because of all the abuse he takes from the Hoss Chicks.  The $hit they dish out on a daily....check that...hourly basis just rolls off his back.  If anything, its like the sunlight to birdman - it makes the SOB stronger.  Hell, he'll probably follow behind Kristen during the race spouting off memorized odes the entire race just to get in her head.  The first 5 will be entertaining.  After 50, she's gonna be out of her game.  If he runs out, he'll compose on the go.  That MOFO will just keep on gaining strength till he's a tsunami - PO'in people left and right.  Due to the stealth log, I'm not sure about his endurance but heck...he doesn't need it.  Run Kristen....pray he doesn't start before you.

Fat guys have to stick together.

That's cause it makes him stronger.....to totally defeat Welshy, you'd have to fill his logs with cute comments..."You're such a strong runner".  This is something that Welshy knows that the Hoss Chicks are physically unable to do.

1. Do you consider alcohol a vital part of your training diet?
2. What are the odds of being hung over on race day?
3. Can you bike or run while puking?
4. Have you ever broken someone's kneecaps before?

When Kristen loses she has to pick up the tab at Gruene Hall for the evening.
