Subject: RE: October TotalsActually never thought of doing monthly totals before. (I make my students do them for reading minutes. ) Figured it out for training: Run: 230 kilometers/1150 minutes (I just guess; maybe it averages to 5 minutes/km? ) Swim: 21,100 meters (Pool downstairs in workplace, so easy to fit it in! ) Bike: 2:50 (Two hours of it a "brick" on the 31st, since it was the first cool day in Saigon in maybe 200 years. Under 70 degrees!!!!!!!!! Wow!!!!!!!!!!!! ) Training for a half-marathon, and "between bikes" at the moment so bike/trainer is on the back burner till end of year. My location and work hours are such that hitting the road for cycling is only physically possible early Sunday AM. And since THCWHL (an acronym I invented: The Hours Compatible With Human Life ) end around 8 AM, long runs have taken over that favored slot until December. After 8-ish on a normal day, everything, esp. "bricks", becomes an SDM (Saigon Death March ) or NDE (Near Death Experience ). |
