Subject: RE: MPG of your primary vehicleMain cars are:
2006 Odyssey....bike carrier extraordinaire, 25-32 mpg depending on use....I love this since I turned in a leased 5.5l tuned AMG benz SUV that got 13-15 the day gas first it $3.00 here.
For biz calls and most training days, I drive a 1991 Prelude which is a hoot and gets about 28 mpg I think. I checked it once.
For weekend fun,and when I want to terrorize all the people who f- with me during the week when I am putting around, I drive an Audi S4 twin turbo with 550 hp. It has 440 cc Lightning injectors in it, a bigger fuel pump and every other part that guarantees the worst mileage possible from a six! I probably get 14-15 mpg although with a heavy foot it might be less. The car does 11 sec 1/4's and over 170 mph so it gives me great big ear to ear smiles whenever I drive it. I often buy 93-100 octane with toluene so this car doesn't count in any normal economic study. |
