I'm heading out there door right now, if anyone is going to the 1PM race meeting, or the 2:30 pro forum, I'm wearing a blue shirt and a Marine Corps Marathon hat.

I'm gonna try and make it to the 1pm meeting but def will be at the 230 pro forum.  I'm the 6ft blonde girl in the brown/blue/tan striped halter top shirt, khaki shorts, hair up in a clip.  I'll look for the Marine Corps Hat at the pro forum.

Good luck everyone!!!!!

I'll probably be rolling into town sometime around 2:30 - 3:00. Will attend the 5:00 meeting. Not sure exactly what I'll be wearing - right now, khaki shorts & black tank top, but I'll be picking up some race wheels, and will want to give them a brief trial run, and maybe try to get a swim in before the 5:00 meeting, so I might be in tri shorts & white zoot top at the meeting... I'm about 5'9", short blond hair.

I just got back from a swim.  There are definitely jellyfish.  Multiple people got stung while I was there.

I will be attending the 2:30 pro forum.  I'm wearing black capris and a pink shirt that says "Walk On".

Does anyone what to get together for dinner or something after the meetings today?  This is my first time in this part of MD, so I don't know what is around here.

Got stung twice in the water,  Not too bad, kinda itched a bit.  My wetsuit is sleeveless but tomorrow I am going to be wearing a black UA compression shirt under it so that should help with any stinging that may happen.

Water was really nice temperature wise.  Rode about 12 miles and it is flat and fast.

Good luck tomorrow everyone.  I am # 1938.  Red Trek E9.  I am in the very last rack in the transition area which is really not that bad since it is right at the swim in and run out.

Sorry I didn't meet up with anyone. What a great day for a race though! I had a blast, but cripes, it really makes me second guess whether or not to do a full.

Wow, that race made me question whether I want to take up bowling or maybe competition knitting.

But, I crossed the lane, Steve crossed the line, and all is good.

You're not the only one that felt that way (at least about the bike).  Great job today!

I personally feel like I had a great day. Not really a great RACE really, but overall a really good day.

My swim time was quite a bit slower than I expected... not sure if I was off course too much, current/chop, just not my day, or what. My bike leg started off really well, and I had dreams of a 3 hour bike split, and maybe that 6:15 (stretch time of 6:00) race I was hoping for. Then I hit the wind, and by the end of the bike leg, I knew any chance of reaching that goal was out the window. So, at that point, I made a conscious decision to just take it easy and "enjoy" (??) the run course -- I took the "live again to race another day" approach, and decided to just go very easy on the run and spare myself some extra wear and tear on the body. So, I did just that. Went out at a very easy aerobic pace, walked the aid stations, walked in between if I felt like it, got sprayed by every hose that was offered, stopped at the porta-potties, thanked the volunteers, etc. And you know what? At the end of a 70.3 - I still feel pretty darn good. I think that's an accomplishment in itself Finsihed much slower than I had hoped at 6:40-ish, but still overall happy with my race, and should be able to get back in the swing of things pretty quickly.

Can't wait to hear how everyone else did!

Finally I can call my self a triathlete, not one in training.
I'm really happy I'm not the only one who noticed the wind. I'm not really used to the flat riding so coming back when I wasn't going anywhere was sort of demoralizing.
Also, if you started in one of the last two waves I apologize for getting in the way. I was the guy in the yellow swim cap who you climbed over on the swim
