I'm thinking Denver (of course) or San Diego or Oakland... I always like to go back "home" to Denver. I could make it a big trip and do a day of boarding, some bar hopping, and the game. BUT, I may just drive to Laguna and stay at the father's house for free, then drive to San Diego for the game (only 2 hours or so). Now do I wear Bronco gear in someone else' house or not is the next question. In SD it's probably ok. In Oakland? Hmmmm maybe not. |

I wouldn't pay money to see a game in Oakland, for any reason. San Diego is nice, but it's not really a football town.... I'd have to say go to Denver. |

I wouldn't pay money to see a game in Oakland, for any reason. San Diego is nice, but it's not really a football town.... I'd have to say go to Denver. The new Invesco in denver is; well: OK. It's just OK. Nothing wow about it. Very functional, decent sightlines. I got a single ticket for Monday Night 2 seasons ago and watched Kyle Orton stink the place up. Seat was $30 from the NFL ticket exchange and 1/2 way up the top teir on the 20. Good bargain. Parking was $25 and a good long walk through a dirt field to get there. Plus; you're driving home meaning you have to lay low on the beers. SD was a while ago; maybe 4 years. Sat on the top teir; goal line. Ticket was a gift from a friend. We took the trolly a couple of stops from Fashion Plaza mall. It was busy, but we got to and from the hotel without worrying about DUI. Better concession stands than the other 2. Oakland was fun last year; but it is Oakland. Steelers lost late in the 4th quarter and the fans loved it. I was in full Hines gear and they were really cool about it. I sat in the outfield add on seats at the 30 for $40 aian buying through the ticket exchange. I took BART from SFO and used the hotel shuttle bus to get to and from my hotel to the airport. Easy peasy drunken squeezy. They have pretty good bloody mary's at the concessions. I lked SD better than the others because I don't like driving to games and risking the DUI or compromising my want to have a few. |

Elite ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Just saw this... stupid laws still on the books in Ohio. I think that #6 is just awesome.
1. Cleveland: It's illegal to catch mice without a hunting license. 2. Bay Village: It's illegal to walk a cow down Lake Road. 3. Cleveland: It's illegal for women to wear patent leather shoes, lest men see reflections of their underwear. 4. Columbus: It's illegal for stores to sell Corn Flakes on Sunday. 5. North Canton: It's illegal to roller skate without notifying the police. 6. Ohio: It is illegal to get a fish drunk. (Our friends in Perry are much more rambunctious than we thought!) 7. Fairview Park: It's illegal to honk your horn "excessively." 8. Strongsville: Catch-22 is banned. 9. Toledo: It's illegal to throw a snake at anybody. 10. Ohio: It's illegal to kill a housefly within 160 feet of a church without a license. 11. Paulding: A policeman may bite a dog to quiet him. 12: Cincinnati: It's illegal to have anal sex.

And maybe not hate running. And be rich. And... other stuff that I just can't think of right now. Having never tried beignets before Saturday night, I had NO idea how freakin' GOOD they are. Definitely try making them, and if you need another guinea pig... send 'em my way! |

I totally want to go to North Canton to roller skate and call the police every time I stand up after falling down to let them know I'm going to give this new fan-dangled roller skating thing another whirl. That should be fun! |

I've never had them, either. I've heard people rave about them before, and I was in New Orleans for a long weekend back in 2010 and drove past Cafe du Monde like eleventy bajillion times, but never stopped in - but every time we drove past, the people I was with were like "before you go, we NEED to get you some of those". Then we ran out of time - as we drove past one again on the way to the airport. |

I even have my name engraved in a brick that is built into the stadium. Well, I designed much of the infrastructure, not the building itself. There is a lot of cool stuff built into it that you don't see. As for game feel? I liked the old Mile High better, but it was SO dated. |

The sightings and layout were great. But the parking was kind of weird and ad-hoc. And the concessions were very average. Couldn't get any real food like BBQ or steak or a local upgrade. The only non-ballpark food was Chinese and it was pretty average. No liquor either; just beer. |

It's good to know that I am not alone and that there are other out there that suffer from this. I usually bend them into something that will stand up. |
