I did 15, feet raised, core engaged. Think I'm gonna start doing 50/day.

Out running or enjoying a fine glass of red...
Subject: RE: DOWN for the Holidays!
Whew - this is a heck of a week for me - too much to do at work, too much to do at home, and not nearly enough hours before all of the stuff to do is due. Good news? I don't have much time to eat (although I do make sure I'm eating - I know better than that). Bad news? Sugar is calling my name! I've been able to resist so far...

What I can tell you is that popping in here a few times a day makes it a lot easier - sadly, I've been so busy, even that is tricky. Hopefully things will slow down next week - but I'll check in when I can.

No pushups for me. No training really - taper...well, if taper means working your butt off outside of the gym, then yes. And my green veggies = bagged salads. Yikes! I need to get back on the program.

I've been doing the green veggie challenge but my training has taken a dive this week  I have a race Saturday and then after that I need to get back to regular runs.  My weight is hopping around and it's starting to frustrate me!

I need to get more creative with my greens.  Always lettuce and celery!  Yesterday was arugula, cucumber and broccoli for dinner.  No push ups for me for the pure reason that I'm lucky I'm getting my runs in - I have zero energy - and I know even 10 pushups will leave me feeling sore and wanting to bail on everything else.  Once this run is done then I'll bring on the pain and torture this body into a lean strong machine!!

Come to Jesus meeting time for me, been a huge slacker this week. Eating has sucked, workouts are short or not existant like yesterday. Turning the page today, gonna shoot for my long bike and hopefully get my crap together.

Me and Halloween are fighting, he has got the best of me but no longer Yell

I am right there with you. Letting the stress get to me much too easily, leading to bad eating and just wanting to lay on the couch. We CAN do this!! So thankful for the support of this group!

Doing so-so on the greens but more importantlyu am eating a tons of veggies on general.  The push-up challege would have been easier if I hadn't done 150 push-ups the day before, but did it regardless.

Dr. says I can't run for at least 2 weeks due to a tendon issue.  While it is dissapointing it will give me time to get in a better biking and swimming routine.   90 minutes on the bike trainer and strength training planned for today.

5 cups of salad greens, 2 green zucchini and half of a cucumber

My complex wants me to write a review of their management team and bribed me with a massive sugar cookie left at my door!!!  WTF!!??  I should throw it out, but I put it in the back of the refrigerator, I'm not tempted to eat it.

90 minutes on the computrainer today and an hour trail run today

Whoever came up with the push up mini-challenge... {{{high five}}}... It's sparked me to do 50 "feet up" push ups per day.  I'm at 40 for this day, with about 2 hours till bed time.  Having the feet elevated really draws the core into play.  This may be better for me than I think it will be.

And, I haven't forgotten about the combat boots with a kilt photo... I just still haven't found the kilt I want to use!

Meeting was held and things changed. Got in a solid day. 100 miles on the computrainer, sweatfest central burning over 3600 calories and then a 4 mi run after. Went to a concert tonight and limited my eating and beers. Hopefully we are back on track!

Friday weigh-in for me!

As kind of anticipated, I'm up a little bit ... about 2 pounds.  Not too worrisome... this is how my weight loss usually goes. Big drop, slight increase, maintain... then back to a big drop, rinse and repeat.  By next week I should be down about 3-4.

So - started at 155.

Last week: 151.8

Today: 154
