I haven't heard of it but it looks cool.

Yeah, the FB stuff gets me too.  I'm looking at this heated foam roller

I get sucked into looking at FB ads too! But since FB and google track everything we do, it's no wonder the ads suck us in! I don't know anything about these sandals though.

I'm trying really hard to not Facebook. It's just a time sync for me and I don't get a lot of good out of it. It would be really difficult to get off because some of my real-life clubs post everything there.

Political posts drove me away from Facebook. I am happier now.

I agree! But, like Janyne, I can't completely ignore it. I am now the Chapter Captain for Team RWB so I need a FB presence. I could do without the political drama and duck face pics though

My results after two weekends of parties have NOTHING to do with my unhappiness.

That is funny, I never get ads on FB. But then I go and update my ad preferences pretty regularly. I may have to try this wivv deals though. They look intriguing and I like the 30 day return if you hate them

Midway through the Jogo challenge and here is where we stand:

  • Weight Loss - Stacey is the only one with a perfect 3 for 3. The rest of us are working towards second place.
  • Keep on Moving - There is a three way tie for first as Janyne, Lisa, and Melanie are all rolling along at a perfect 21 days out of a possible 21 days.
  • Good Eats - No one is running away with this one. A three way tie with 2 out of 3 weeks of success. This could come down to the wire!
  • Strength/Core/Yoga - Too numerous to enumerate. Many people are  tied for first.
  • Distance Traveled - A couple of people are tied with 2 points, and a few still need to add in week three numbers, so it is too close to call.

Keep going folks, you are all rocking the challenges!!!

Errr...Flying to New Zealand? The result may be fun, but I wouldn't describe a 13+ hour flight on an American carrier in Economy as "fun"!

Happy Friday! Hope everyone is doing well!

After today i am on vacation!!! We are heading, as a family to Mont-Tremblant for a few days of family skiing (excepting the little guy), beaver tails and some wintery fun. I am not a great skier but have a lesson lined up. Definitely looking forward to a few days off.

Hey everyone!

Sorry to be MIA, but the cold I had wiped me out for a few weeks and I got behind in everything. Well, except weight loss - I should have joined the weight loss challenge as I lost 13 pounds when I was sick.

I also let the district know that I will be retiring at the end of the year but will do the 110 plan next year. What that means is that I will get a portion of my retirement checks, but will also make 50% of what I make now. What it also means is that I will get paid for all the sick days I haven't used over the years. I get $59 for every day which will give me a bit over 3k. (If we use our days, they take $100 away, but if we don't they give us $59. How does that math work??) Anyway, the decision now is to either buy a new bike or just get new components, wheels, and a power meter. My bike was a new frame but everything else was used parts.

So what do you guys vote on? New bike (probably a Liv) or just a face lift for Frankenbike, aka Frankie?

Yay for the retirement! I'm glad you have the payments and sick days figured out. I think that is a great deal.
I would vote for a new bike. This way you have two bikes, one serving as a back-up. Eventually, you will get newere parts for it.

Bike needs are simple. N+1. Do you have:

  • A road bike?
  • A cruiser bike?
  • A gravel bike?
  • A tri-bike?
  • A hard-tail MTB?
  • A soft-tail MTB?
  • A fat tire bike?

I think you need more bikes.
