Chocolate tops or no?

I like the fat pumpkin candy thingies in the same family. Variety pack makes Lisa happy.

I like old school traditional candy corn.  For some reason it wouldn't ring up at the store so I just didn't buy it.  Saved myself a 900 calorie candy corn binge

Well, I ate your calories for you in the form of Jelly Bellies. YUM!

Dang it.  Trying to keep tabs on my diet and all this talk about candy corn and pumpkin spice latte...

Someone brought gourmet doughnuts in today.  They had a caramel covered long john with bacon bits on top.  I indulged in a cream filled s'mores themed one.  SO good but SO many calories.

Consider it front loading and now just don't eat anything for the next 2 days.

pumpkin spice latte...

A local coffee shop makes their own pumpkin puree for their drinks, I'll need to see if they have any yet this season.

I feel like mine is stress related.  I can't sleep all night if I know if I have to get up but if it's a Sat or Sun or decide to call in?  I sleep like a stone.

That's a thought.  Maybe there is a recipe online for something like that to make at home.  I bet you could use pumpkin pie filling (with spices already added), blend with milk & espresso...  That could be worth an experiment this weekend.

Rev3 Cedar Point

I'm pretty stoked to do the race, then spending the rest of the day riding roller coasters and hitting the water park with the gf.

I bought one of the large spice containers of Pumpkin Pie Spice at GFS.  When I want pumpkin coffee, I just sprinkle about 1/2 tsp over the coffee grounds before I brew it. Works great.   Add some cream & sugar and you're all set.

I wish someone would come up with a sugar free pumpkin spice flavoring for lattes... at SBUX you go from 130 calories to 260 calories by adding that pumpkin deliciousness (in terms of a grande nonfat latte).

I know.  I have "trouble" with all powders, mixes, and creamers you can buy.  Just so much sugar.  It may  not be MUCH better, but I would prefer to add condensed milk than coffee mate.  The pumpkin spice creamer is 35 cal per tablespoon!  I need probably 6 for 20oz of coffee.

I'm wondering if pumpkin puree, spices, and Equal or some other sweetener would make something good.

I was going to post in the nutrition forum but I don't think it get any traffic.

Anyone know/believe in these diets like Eat Right for Your Blood Type?  I wonder if it has any legs.

What is this whole gluten free thing?  Any substance?

I guess I could just "eat right" but that's so boring when I could follow some complex plan!  I need my meat, so the whole vegan/vegetarian thing is WAY out.

i don't believe in any of these things - unless of course you have an allergy/intolerance to something.  if it sounds stupid (eat according to your blood type...really) it probably is.

I know.  My general thoughts too.  But you would not BELIEVE the crazy testimonials I hear from the wife's model friends.  It's every thing under the sun...

My friends?  Don't have such restrictions.  Beer and pizza are food groups.

A guy I dated last year did the Blood Type diet. But he was a certified KOOK and hypochondriac. That said, I am all about diets that make you FEEL your best though, so if it made him FEEL better (placebo effect or not) I was on board.

As for the gluten free "thing" (obv I have Celiac so have to do it) - but for those who don't have to do it I know a lot of them simply FEEL better on it. Again, I like it when people FEEL their best! Some people's bellies are simply irritated by wheat and get inflamed - causing excess bloating, gas, bad pewps, headaches, etc. One of my BFFs on BT had bad tummy issues for years (painful gas type of stuff) and when she cut off wheat? Disappeared. Not allergic or Celiac, it just irritated her tummy. Whenever she splurges, she has troubles again - not hard to pinpoint what the culprit is.

I see it kind of like how beans give some people wicked gas. Eliminate what makes you feel bad!

I so don't want to work today.  On a whim, I decided to donate blood over lunch...  So I'm out for a while.

My ex tried that out as it was suggested to her by some natural healer.  As soon as I saw the book I laughed.

Training our bodies to work efficiently in Zone 2 will help us keep our HR and pace even throughout an Ironman. This theory would hold true for the bike and run portion of an Ironman race.
