Bachelor in Commerce
Masters in Applied economics.

Completed the coursework and Comprehensive exams for Ph D in Economics but I never finished my thesis, I didn't like research, or research didn't like me. I'm not sure which is which.

Now I'm in Sales for a Software company (games and other apps) for the Inflight Entertainment Industry (little screens at the seat on the aircraft).

Not for this little black duck. No one is looking for someone who knows the history of world religions. You can't even bring it up in conversation. I still love it tho. Fascinating.

Would you believe one of my roommates studies the same thing as you?? So there IS more than one of you out there. AMAZING. He was a total bookworm but quite possibly the smartest person I ever met. The floor was just LITTERED with books. Amazing.

As for me, I started off a technical theatre major (scenic painting) and switched to psychology halfway through my junior year. Somehow I still managed to graduate...EARLY! Quite proud of that one. Now I'm thinking I want to be a critical care nurse so I may start an LPN program next year and see where that takes me.

Graduating early is quite a feat Line! You should be proud. There is someone else out there who would do a paper comparing "Geography on the Spread of the Christian Faith System"? (For example Christianity in Europe vs. India).. I cannot believe it. I thought I was a stranger person and I am but it is nice to know I am not the only one.

One of these days I will go to India and see for myself the interaction of so many faith systems on the general population. I WANNA GO TO INDIA!

Geology was one of my "try it on for size" majors. I loved it but am math impaired and a double major in Vocal Performance and Geology would not have made me a rock star ; ) Seriously I could not get through minerology. Killed me every single time. I took it twice and gave up.

BS in human resources, a semester away from kinesiology (and then med school) but i haven't been in a class room in 5 years, so i don't think it's gonna happen.  i am a strength and conditioning coach and until 5 months ago owned my own athlete development center, sold it, but still work there.  so if you stretch it, i kinda use my degree. i'm also enjoying the housewife role that i've recently found myself playing

I started out as a CAD draftsman. Didn't like that field. Too many hours. Too many deadline. Not enough money. I went back to school after a couple years.

I recieved a double major B.S. in Biology and Life Science with a minor in Athletic Training. I got my M.S. in Kinesiology (Athletic Training emphasis). I am currently finishing my PhD in Exercise Science (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with an emphasis in Biomechanics). I have 2 more semesters to go. That is if I can light a fire under my committee. I am doing my dissertation on the hammer throw.

I teach biomechanics and sports medicine classes. I also am a biomechanical consultant for the throwers of USA track & field. My specialty is the hammer throw. I just returned from a pre-World Championship throwers camp in Finland.

BS in Mechanical Engineering. I've been working in my field for almost 6 years and have come to some conclusions:

1. Engineers are some of the freakiest people on this Earth. I think I should write a screenplay on the things I have witnessed.
2. You ceiling out pretty fast, unless your dream of dreams is to be a manager with ulcers that talks to themself.
3. Dilbert cartoons are so friggin accurate it is almost prophecy.

Now my main priority in life is to find a place to live with beautiful scenery, low population, and maybe salvage my degree by becoming a Patent Attorney (Intellectual Property Lawyer).

Any of those out there with some advice? Or advice on a kick ass place to live? Montana? Colorado? Alaska?

BSE Industrial & Operations Engineering (Michigan) after I realized that my questionable math skills and an aerospace engineering degree would ultimately lead to a front page news story that I didn't want to be associated with.

Worked for Ford Motor Company for 5 years in inventory planning, logisitics, and material handling before I figured out that if everything in my career went right I would still hate my job in 15 years.

Got an MBA in Finance and Accounting (Columbia) and now work as a research analyst for a small, private, investment management firm. I spend my time reading SEC documents and doing competitive analysis before allocating our clients' hard earned capital in the stock market. Now when I'm wrong no one dies, they just lose all their money. Much easier to sleep at night.

In short, both jobs have been in the field of my degrees.

Speaking of Engineers.....

> > UNDERSTANDING ENGINEERS - TAKE ONE Two engineering students were walking across campus when one said, "Where did you get such a great bike?" The second engineer replied, "Well, I was walking along yesterday minding my own business when a beautiful woman rode up on this bike. She threw the bike to the ground, took off all her clothes and
said, "Take what you want." The second engineer nodded approvingly,
"Good choice; the clothes probably wouldn't have fit."

BASc with a Major in Computer Science and a Minor in Business. I started out in Engineering, discovered that I prefered software over hardware and transferred to comp. sci. Did multiple co-op jobs and courses in many subjects especially Math and Philosophy (Logic) and came out of school 6 years later with a degree.

I'm working as a software engineer now.

I'm now an actuary (or more truthfully, an actuarial analyst trying to get through her exams).
