Subject: RE: How many miles on your car/truck??Don't have it any longer but had a Landcruiser 43 series ute (truck ) that had the speedo stop at 380,000kms, I drove it for another 3 years after that and was filling the tank with diesel every 2nd day, 3 days top, so imagine the real kms on it when it went to 'Siberia' (that was the area we named were old machinery went to sit and wait to be cannibalised ) was around 450,000kms+, possibly even 500,000. Most of the Landcruiser work utes we had on that farm didn't get traded in until 300,000kms minimum. This was on a 40,000 acre farm that took over 30 minutes to drive from one corner to the other, we had regular floods we had to drive through so life wasn't easy for them. We found hilux utes only lasted to around 150,000kms in the same conditions |
