How did everyone's weekend treat them? Able to stay on track?

Missed a run on Sunday due to a baptism/gathering that kept going and derailed me a bit but back on the horse today

Weekends are always hard for me food wise. I have issues just going on a crazy binge. Not unhealthy food, just waaaaaaaaaay too much. Ate enough Saturday that I didn't get hungry on Sunday.

Weigh in tomorrow... hopefully it's not too bad!

It was my GF's birthday, so no I did horribly. We at least ran and kept up some training, but ate enough Friday and Saturday to feed a small country.

We had BBQ Saturday night, and I could not stop eating the ribs and Brisket.

Oh well, have a good food plan for this week and working harder on the training.

Weigh in tomorrow peeps, halfway through this month, need to keep the motivation up. Many people have probably already blown their New Years Resolutions but not this team, we are in it to win it!!!!

That's all downward trending, so I'd call that a win!

First day of swimming today with a workout tonight. Hopefully all goes well! While it is more work to get to the pool, I always feel swimming does my body so much good. Especially since it's basically the only upper body workout I get!

I don't know what calendar I was looking at when I first got here, but I said it was the 16th. Weird! I had been going about my week thinking it was like 3 days earlier than it really was. Can you imagine the feeling I had when I realized I had 3 more days to my month?! LOL! Winter break with the kids, I just lose all sense of time. Seriously.

Anyway, just started this past weekend, so:

1/13/14: 150
1/16/14: 149.6

Great job, guys! Happy Hump Day!

Oh, shoot. I'm a day ahead of you guys, so I'm actually late on the weigh in. So, every Tuesday?

Hi everyone,

I am a newbie here....just joined a mentoring group and hoping to lose weight and do my first triathlon in the fall. I've been watching my eating for the past two weeks but haven't had the guts to get on the scale until today when I was at the gym, so here goes...

ropey start for me. weighed in at 172 but then girl stuff happened and i shot up to 173.6 and been stuck there ever since.

tbh my eating has been better than a good few months of 2013 but still not as clean as it needs to be. however my exercise levels are improving. bike commuted for 3 days last week and did my first proper training ride on my new bike (after a totally amazing pro bike fit yday - JUST DO IT!!!). 10.32 miles with 727 feet elevation at an average speed of 11.6 mph. one of the hills has a 9.9% gradient after which i stopped for a big lungful or ten of oxygen before i set off again!

hopefully i'll start seeing some results soon. even if only get back down to 172 it is better than nothing imho!

The weekend is always rough for some reason, despite bigger workouts. Or perhaps because of?

How's everyone doing? I'm just hoping weigh-in will be good on Wednesday.

The weekend was full of running and biking. The quality of the food could have been better, but I didn't go overboard. Weekends are hard for me too. I eat like crap and have too much wine. I really need to work on that! I eat much better Mon-Fri.

I'm having a little progress though:

1/13: 150
1/16: 149.6
1/21: 148.8

Total lost: 1.2 lbs

Keep up the good work, guys!

With the coming of the New Year, athletes commonly think about making nutrition resolutions. Good thing, given only 3 to 4% of Americans follow all of the established Dietary Guidelines.
