I vote for DISH.  It was awesome last year.  they have rice and tortillas plus ANYTHING and I mean ANYTHING you want veggie or poultry  or meat or fish wise.  Plus everyone could come and go as we pleased and we didn't have to sit and wait 3 hours for eveyones meal to come out.

The DISH is at the tippy-top of my list! I hope that's where we end up!

Looking forward to meeting all the BTers!

Dish sounds good to me. I arrived late last year and there is nothing like that in the NYC. I was a liitle caught off guard  because New Yorkers generally stay away from places whre the general public has access to your food.

BUt the food was great. There was a wide variety of it and it was a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Just to ask again in case it was overlooked....is DISH kid friendly? The whole family of four is coming down and we would love to be there.

Yes, definitely kid-friendly.  Actually kids probably enjoy it more than we do...what's not to love about getting to pick everything you're gonna eat?   Definitely bring the fam.

last year, my boys (11 and 13) sat at their own table with the Opkins kids of about the same age.  Four boys!!! Ahhhh!!!    So, yeah, even my picky eater got full.   Yours can join them if they want....

I posted this on TT as well, but thought it might get lost in the shuffle:

Here's the hottest thing next to getting a bib number for St. A's ... a bed and breakfast room within walking distance to the park.

I just cancelled a room there not 10 minutes ago. Not sure how long something like this will stay availabile given the number of participants, so if you are interest - better to call now with credit card in hand:

Ask for Nancy and tell her that Brian sent you - maybe she'll extend the offer for the $149/night?

That's where we all hung out last year.  Good meeting spot.  Great place for the post-race stuff too.

You're lucky...she said she's not taking too many St. A's peeps this year.  Speaking of which...I should call her to make sure my reservation hasn't gotten lost in the shuffle!!!!!

Did she say why she's taking to many St A's peeps? She seemed very nice on the phone.
