I've been a social butterfly all weekend long having a fantastic lunch with Linda ( she looks great and is so ready to kick a$$ today!), followed by an overnight at the Cape with the girls and friends over for a movie night last night. Oy, too much sangria! Jayne- I was blown away when I read that you did the 50k! Amazing job! Suzy- fantastic race! So much for following Drs orders! Brent and Tony- great races you guys! welcome new peeps! Tough call today, not sure whether to cheer for the racers or head to the BEACH! Ha! It definitely warmed up since Saturday. This is weather we don't usually get til July! The referrals are crap. I can't imagine many would choose that option after all that training. Can't wait to cheer Linda on!!! Have a great race!!! Finished in 1:42:28 which is something I haven't done in a very long time. Gave me #1AG and #8 Female. Probably most happy with almost a 6' CR. The suffer factor was very high the last 3m so I was pretty happy to see the net result. For me, going into it 100% blind is key. You just push and push and don't get freaked out at a number you didn't want to see (e.g 8:06 on the biggest hill!). Unlike Brent, I don't have an RR done. Georging it and heading out for Tex Mex instead.

Like out of this world hot for Boston (91 in Wellesley) with little to no breeze. Saw Linda about 40 min ago at mi 14 and gave her a quick hug. She staying tough With a great attitude but it's hard.
