I'd suggest that you remember and remember quickly. You're going to need all the swim time possible for Redman..... You should have started yesterday.....

I am going to beat you so bad that you will break up with S/B/R all together and then you will write a couple of country western songs, win a few Grammy's and then Thank me for the beating you took at Redman!

I've already written a song. I already have plans for my guitar to be at the finish line....so when you cross, I'll be able to play it for you. James, oh James, you thought you would win Who's at the finish line waiting for you to come in He's faster than you and better in every way Sorry son...today was not your day His names is Brad and he's a tough SOB You tried to beat him but failed like you were meant to be It's okay because you couldn't wear your crown Now get out of finish line because their tearing it down

OK, maybe you won't win any Grammy's...

Not gonna lie, I LOL'd.

Yes, TAN, I said I LOL'd.

ETA: I LOL'd at the song, and the response. They were equally funny.

I just wasted my 34,000th post on calling someone a dbag, who wasn't cord or brad.

Boo.

Yet, the same results for triathletes is completely OK.

I did the Mt. Washington hill climb bike race a couple of times. A kid on a Cannondale passed me; 20 minutes later he's on the side of the road doing the pink technicolor yawn. Passes me again and 10 minutes after that, is puking again. Never did see him again.

I don't like watching anyone puke! Racing or in the street!

But at least when it is during a race they aren't sick from drinking themselves into a stupor.

All this talk of vom just makes you hungry?

I do love cookies, but I've been messing with my eating habits and haven't had one in like a month. I do have to eat 2-3 MREs this weekend though, and heck yes I'm picking ones that usually contain cookies!

If you want a "healthy" version of cookies, hear me out.

1 cup natural peanut butter
1 cup Splenda (if you don't think Splenda will kill you)
1 egg
Some baking powder
Some vanilla

Prepare like traditional PB cookies, making cute-sie fork patterns in the dough. Bake at 375 for 12-15 minutes.

They are a little crumbly but definitely satisfy a cookie craving. My mom made these with just 1c peanut butter, 1c sugar and 1 egg for my entire childhood. Yum.

I like to think I'm a pretty decent cook and just don't see how that works out.  (I never really cooked with splenda, so maybe that has interesting characteristics).  Maybe as a lace type cookie?  In my head it seems like it would just be like a melted center of a peanut butter cup.  Perhaps the baking powder ads just enough leavening and the egg is enough of a binder?  Maybe worth an experiment.

I got in after my run and felt like the cupboards were bare, so I went shopping at a local market.  Ended up getting all my thanksgiving fixings.  I'M SO EXCITED.  (We are having Thanksgiving on Sunday with the father in law because we are abroad starting next Wednesday.

We are doing the usual suspects.  Turkey, potatoes, stuffing, cranberry, a corn casserole, Brussels sprouts w/ bacon, rolls and pumpkin pie for desert.  LOVE this holiday.  Plus a got some other fixings for dinners I make when her dad is in town.  Turkey meatloaf, dutch oven chicken, cornbread, cast iron skillet cobbler...

Yup the egg puffs everything up just enough. It's not "melted" at all - rather dry actually. The texture is MUCH better with real sugar, but the Splenda is a good sub if you're watching carbs/sugar.

My bride makes these and they are my favorite PB cookies!  except she uses sugar instead of Splenda

I come on hear feeling a bit guilty about my weight and the fact I am up like 18 lbs or so from last year and the first thing I find is everyone talking about cookies.

UGH

oh well I am off to eat something and get another coffee.

Banana or granola bar.. this is a hard decision.

3.2 days left at this old job.

I sold my Tribike and now I am looking for a new one. I had a deal that fell through with a pro triathlete but she is is opting to keep her bike so I have to look for a new one.

I can't decide.

i tried to respond to this earlier but BT wouldn't let me.

i don't think splenda will kill me because of the chlorine atom - oooh - but i can definitely taste it in my food and i HATE IT.
