Probably because after 4:30 p.m. I don't come back here for 10 days!

i'm a hater for sure.

I might give her some love tonight, but I'm heading out of town for a week. Super relaxing time planned from Sun-Wed... I was told it would be movies, board games and food - and to bring mostly sweats and yoga pants. YESSS! Then Thurs-Fri will be cooking and chilling with my parents and sweet grandparents and 3 annoying dogs (mine being the most annoying). I'm ready to get this party started.

The XBOX One debuted today. there were long lines outside the stores waiting to get ahold of one. People dropped over $500 for this gaming system. We had limited quantities (I am sure XBox is driving the demand for Christmas) It is always interesting to see the mix of people waiting on the rain for these systems.

My weekend is consisting of cake; lots and lots of cake (and ice cream).  A coworker brought some cake in for everyone to nom this morning, and then I have three birthday parties between tonight and tomorrow - the eldest daughter of my girlfriend has her party tonight, then a party tomorrow afternoon for a coworker, and one tomorrow evening for a niece.  Workouts begin again on Sunday (YAY!!) with a trip to the pool and a run, then a trainer ride on Monday.  I am soooo ready to get started again!

Lisa - that new bike is saaa-weeeet!  Now you're going to have to do another 140.6 to christen it properly

I'm going to wait a bit to decide which new gaming platform to go with. I went from PS1 -> Dreamcast (yes!) -> PS2 -> XBox 360 -> ?, with no real loyalty to either side. The one thing the XBox has that I prefer is the controller, so I may lean that way when I finally upgrade. Granted my game playing time has gone down now that I spend more time training so that adds to my lack of motivation to run out and buy the new system.

Oh I know! I've got my eye on Chattanooga 2015
She will definitely be racing at Kansas 70.3 in June though! It will be a shock to her system, the longest race she's done is an Olympic.

Hi TAN!  Happy Friday!   

Pardon my intrusion, but I'm just SUPER excited about going to the Northwestern vs MSU game tomorrow.
I don't have any  college football loyalties (NYU's football program was sorely lacking), but I'm going with a bunch of MSU alum, so I think my choice is clear.

Tailgate starts at 9am. Temps in the 20's. Good times.

Seems like keeping drinks in a cooler will be to prevent them from freezing!

Granted I'm a California beach kid, so doing anything at a temperature that low just seems crazy.

Sounds like a good time!  Dress WARMLY tomorrow as the Northwestern stadium is outside (we were there last year to watch the Nebraska vs. Northwestern game) and definitely rent one of the padded seats if they still have them.  Makes a world of difference to not have the cold metal under your butt.

I'm going with jeans under insulated ski pants on the bottom, and a Russian doll type setup on top (t-shirt, t-shirt, hoodie, North Face fleece, ski jacket).
