It has been a few years since I went to Stone Mountain.  Glad to hear there are some bicycle trails in the area.  The idiots on the roads sure would not have made it a safe ride on a bicycle.  Enjoy the ride!!!

Hahhaha - first, yes probably a run tonight. I believe I have a half marathon in like 2 weeks. Bad runner.

2nd - permission only needed if the shirt costs more than $300. That seems to be the threshold. $299.99 and you're good though.

Clothing purchases in my house have an out clause wrt permission needed as long as the clothes (for her) fit really tight.

I'm going to start counting time by how long until I can have a drink.  Right now it's at T-minus 3 hours and 55 minutes.

Many moons ago I worked for the Harley-Davidson motor company and had the opportunity to work on the computer system for the dealership in Stone Mountain right after their building got pretty much destroyed.  The top half of the dealership burned, the bottom half flooded... the server case arrived to us completely packed with mud and it was out job to recover data from it so they could turn in the inventory to the insurance company.

Those were fun days.... never got to go there, though

sadly I will be spinning indoors again tonight.

I can thank the snow that is falling again. Upside my area has now broken a record for most snow fall ever on record.

YET people keep telling me to stop complaining this is a normal Canadian winter.

At the HQ in Milwaukee?  If you ever do again, I still know several people up there (the woman I stayed with for AG Nats last year still works there).  I don't know if it would help at all, but it can't hurt.

I would love to work for them.

I often had to go to Ford in Kansas and GM. I was able to tour the HD facility while down there. AMAZING process and manufacturing. We could not see the Vrod line but we were allowed in the other areas.

As a process and manufacturing guy it was one of the neatest, cleanest processes I have watched. Sold me on buying a Harley.

I love hearing people's opinion of marriages/relationships.

I honestly think the Mr/Mrs kido union is just about perfect.  Lots of time apart to do our own things, enough time together where just about every moment is fun.  We love doing the same things, rarely argue, laugh every day, have similar outlooks and adore each other. - yet according to some, there is so much wrong in what we are doing!  And the things that work for THEIR marriage seems rather sucky to me...

No right answer for everyone.

My last relationship was perfect. It proved that a restraining order is useless as the guy can contact me no less than 22 times in the 1.5 weeks following being served, with virtually zero penalty. Fun!

Same for the spouse attending races one...  Some are shocked or feel it's wrong that your family is not in attendance to every single one where I don't mind getting in and out on my own except the IM's.  Those are a bit of a big deal.

As a side note.  Or paper wrote this bit of humor.  Other than the driving, it's pretty accurate for me.

It has been a few years since I went to Stone Mountain.  Glad to hear there are some bicycle trails in the area.  The idiots on the roads sure would not have made it a safe ride on a bicycle.  Enjoy the ride!!!

The roads I took are mostly residential or bike lane or multi use trail.   Atlanta has marked a lot of bike lane in the last few years.  I took the PATH which is a clever acronym for something or another out to Agnes Scott.  Then, I came back mostly on Hosea Williiams which has a separate bike lane.

A couple of streets I was on, North Decatur, Briarcliff and Virginia, have a lot of traffic but this is a pretty good route.  I need help like this to stay out of trouble when riding in the city.

It was great day to ride, low 60's.  Atlanta is in spring bloom. The clouds and rain did not materialize.  I had a great birthday.
