Daremo - 2008-05-15 5:46 AM avjet and Bob ....... raise the nose of your sadlles RIGHT NOW!!!!  They should never be pointed "down" or else your fit is off ........
that's not true with the adamo. from their site setup instructions:

The Adamo Racing/Road Saddle was designed to be ridden in a flat position or even tilted

downward anywhere between 1-7 degrees.

We will be doing our first duathlon this Sunday at Pinchot Park in southcental PA. My first event with my baby. I've since added PD Jammer aerobars. Wanted Jammers because I figured I wasn't going to spend much time aero. Boy, was I wrong about that assumption.

Here's mine, we head out for our first tri next month. It's a Gazelle with Campy components and a great history of racing in Europe (not by me)...

I've since changed out the saddle and raised both the seat & handlebars.

Now I know what I need to do to pimp my ride!

Now I know what I need to do to pimp my ride! The only thing I've done is add clip it peddles and bottle cages. I've just been cleared for activity again after my last surgery and I'm going to add aero bars soon.

I like the black grip tape and saddle.

Can't believe she's 7 yrs old already!

I like the setup of the Kestrel!  It's like an oasis in a desert of sky high bars and spacers.    What bars are those, the Vision Pro-max?  I want 'em..

bcart1991 - 2008-05-15 3:37 PM That Rex is flippin' beautiful.

Glad you like it.

wgraves7582 - 2008-05-15 3:28 PM

DUUUUUUUUDDDDDDEEEEEEE - That steel one is sweet!!!!! Let me know if you are 5'10" and 32" inseam and looking to part with it sometime in the future (please not this year because I will need a divorce lawyer as well)! That is sweet!

I'm actually 5'9", 32" inseam..you'd probably fit well on the bike (assuming you want tons of drop..the head tube's only 3" tall!).  I'll keep you in mind.

D_M_S - 2008-05-15 3:41 PM WHOA! Is than integrated steel seatpost on the Rex? That's pretty cool!

Yep.  All of the tubing was custom shaped; the downtube and seat tube are only about 1/2" wide viewed from the front.  It's not a "true airfoil" shape but it's so narrow I'd guess it would test more aero than many big, chunky carbon "aero" frames.
