wgraves7582 - 2011-12-06 6:29 PM Easy 2 miler in tonight - after my 40+ mile commute r/t - felt alright!

You're amazing!

Got a 3.35 mile run in. Took my light with me, just in case, but I made it back home (barely) before I needed it. Tried a mile and a half of fartleks. I'm actually a little sore from that, but that's a good thing, right?

Woo hoo, Streakers! I'm so busy that I've been having to run late at night, but I'm so happy to still be active. Normally fitness gets way lost during the holidays. After shopping and fighting with traffic and crabby people in crowded places, last thing I want to do is leave the house for anything when I get home.

Thanks for this challenge, Kim!

It was late, almost 11:00 p.m. before I got out there tonight, but I ran for 30 minutes this evening. My streak is still alive. :-)

Had a beautiful barefoot beach run with my dog this evening!

We've just had a storm and there was still a really strong headwind to start with but that meant a tailwind on the way back up the beach.

The stars and moon kept peeking out through gaps in the storm clouds and crabs were darting around all over the sand, very cool!

Oh, forgot to say, 5km run

I'm jealous of all these gorgeous runs!

This morning got in 60 minutes on the trainer followed by a three mile run.  I love my brick days.  Have a good one!

I ran at noon today. Hooray! It feels good to have it done. It wasn't so fun getting out there at 11:00 last night, but you have to do what you have to do.

It's Friday...yahoo!  Got my one mile easy jog in plus another 1.5 mile walk.   Even though Fridays are my 'off' days...I still love keeping my schedule and doing these easy, slow one mile runs.  It just feels good!  Have a great Friday!

Got my 2km in last night off the bike trainer, felt a bit harder than usual but the main set of the bike session was 14 x 30 secs HARD 30secs recovery and I think my legs were cooked!

Anyway, the weekend's here so time to plan a long (ish) run

Had a killer run yesterday. 21k in 1:54, which is like a pb. Then food infused Christmas party. Got to bed at midnight but couldn't sleep due to excessive stomach expansion.

Rolled out of bed around 6 and got in a gorgous 9k, ran right into the eclipse. Super duper cool. Anybody else catch it.

eta: nothing beats a Saturday where you already have hit your mileage goal for the week.

I missed the eclipse. I wasn't up in time and it is overcast here anyway.

Ran my long run today. I ran a route that brought me back near the house at around mile 6 in case I needed to bail, but I kept going. My left achilles is complaining a little right now, but nothing really hurt while I was running. Usually I start feeling achy in my knees/achilles/joints at around mile 8. I purposefully slowed it down just a bit when I got to that spot to test things. Everything seemed good, so I just kept on going. 10 total.

I ran it in almost the same time DH did his 21k. oh, well. Smile
