Just a reminder to those of you who are thinking about the bike course tour tomorrow.  Plan is to meet at 1:00 at Memorial Field, just north of city park at a little before 1:00 and then head out.  There are somewhere between 2-4 vehicles going now as far as I know.  We should be able to take at least one more in our little convoy without too much difficulty if someone else wants to join in with their own car.  I have a blue Ford crew cab pickup for those of you looking to meet up.  Looking forward to meeting everyone!

I will be there in a red Toyota RAV4.Also, all checked in, no to figure out why they gave me this giant sticker to pun on my bike frame that is way too freaking big and what to put in all the bags!

Cool!  See you tomorrow.  Haven't looked through all my race bags yet but the sticker issues doesn't sound great.  Sure do like the backpack though!

Backpack is pretty nice. I have about 90% of my stuff in the appropriate bags already. Oddly nothing in my run special needs though. Also, my good goggles are missing, that's really frustrating.

Just a thought:  I wasn't really planning to put anything in my run SN bag for St George...then I figured there was always a chance I might be running after dark if things went south.  I found a throwaway long sleeve shirt at TJ Maxx and stuck it in my run SN bag...south things did go...on the shirt went.  Best $7 I spent that weekend.

Anyone know where the Athletes Dinner is being held? I'm guessing the giant white tent in front of the hotel? Thx!

A crack pipe is an adapter so you can pump up a disk wheel. The athlete dinner is usually in the parking lot on the east side of the hotel. Opposite the expo.

Last year I did not attend the "mandatory meeting".  They still let me race.

+1, Nice to meet everyone, Thanks Stan and the other tour guides.

The course was gorgeous, a place I would never get tired of riding 30-50 miles 112 ouch.

Does anyone know where we order the race pictures? I recall at previous races ordering the frame set. I didn't see it this year.PS. I thought the bike course was a little harder than I was anticipating. Race day should be interesting.

Anyone go to iron kids race? I was with some but wife said winning kids (a 12-3 yo girl) finished in 5:03!!!!Seriously?!?!Anyways, bike course looked interesting. Getting out of town is gonna hurt...a little if your not used to hills. What do people think about the no passing zone on the downhill? This is gonna suck. Not soo much on time I don't think but definitely on the fun factor. I don't like using brakes going down if possible :-(

Not sure if the winner was a local but, some insanely fast kids are coming out of this area, especially cross country.

I was a little disappointed when I heard the no passing zone location last night, I am not known for using my brakes on most hills.

Oh yeah, 24 hours from now we will be in the water!

Anyone else having trouble with the atete tracker on the IM website? Keeps telling me name not found. Also, what's with the switch away from ironmanlive right before our race?

Thanks for the course tour guys.  This is going to be fun! But yeah, I imagine there are going to be at least a few unhappy people about the no passing zone going downhill.  The hay is in the barn, let's all relax and see you at the finish line tomorrow!
