I does make a difference. I went to the development masters class. The mid week class has a different instructor. I had such a GREAT swim! If you look at my last 2 swims, I didn't get a lot of yardage. One was the first day so lots of demonstration and breathing drills. The second day, I swam with friends and spent too much time talking. BUT tonight, I did nothing else but swim. I just kept doing whatever the coach said and periodically she stopped me to either correct my form or give me a compliment. I swam 1500 yards!!! Unbelievable! I know many of you can swim that but I have never gotten that far in the workout. I felt great. I am going to rock this swim challenge.

I just noticed you are doing the MCM 10K this year. My husband and I are doing the marathon (it will be our first), though I am thinking of dropping back to the 10K if it is possible since my training has sucked for running so far.

Yes, you can downgrade to the 10K. Someone gifted me and transfered their marathon bib to me 2 years ago. I was training for that distance so they downgraded it to a 10K. you can do it on their website.

Awesome work, swim team! I managed another hour in the pool this morning, I've revised my goal up a bit as I'm getting more swimming than I thought I could. Pretty happy with that!

We are half way through the month. I am on par with my running but my swim is at 33%. But I only started on the 7th. I should be half way to my goal by the end of this week.

We are in 2nd place but the bike team is right on our heels!

This weekend I did a five mile hike that was pretty steep.  Then a short hill run.  I only counted the run toward the challenge miles, but I think it was the hike that made me sore!  It was worth it though; the views were beautiful!!

Thanks Bill. I'll try to get to it from home, too. The past few days have been crazy, but I should have a few minutes today I can get on the computer.

3300 yards - 1 hr 10 min for me yesterday! AND - the pool heater was broken so the water temp was 75 degrees. See how dedicated I am to this team?!

I keep forgetting to enter my info in the spreadsheet. I'll go do that right now.

Just be glad I don't have pool access, then I would be on all 3 teams - I figure I have a 66% chance of winning a challenge for the first time in a long time by being on 2 teams

Aaaaahhhh!! Stacking the deck!

The Boulder Peak bike course is legendary. It is, literally and named as such, one of the toughest bike legs in the country.
