Been a crappy start for the day.  Happy Monday TAN!!!!  Hope Chicago Marathon was great for all those involved.

I've been amused since yesterday at about noon... Tony's post-marathon shower was a series of strangled yelps and swearing as various points of chafing were found.  And then today he mostly resembles these people with the exception of the last guy:  Post Marathon

Yeah ... that hurt. Still does. Danged ninja-chafing!
More importantly how did the knee hold up? Otherwise its just skin. SIUBC
Surprisingly well. It didn't hurt that much at all while running. It hurts pretty bad today, but that's to be expected. It got me a PR so that's all I care about!
YAY!!! Hope its on its way to a full recovery

Its the work computer. Its a PITA. ITs the computer not BT as I can use BT from my phone but the phone is cumbersome. The electronic hell is ongoing. I have a bad electronic aura. So does my mom. Things just BREAK around me. And so far today I have had 13 pts no show or cancel their appts. and my next one is already 11 minutes late so its not looking good for her either.

Congrats on the PR Tony.  Is the knee an on-going issue, or just because of the long run?

HOLD UP... you had THIRTEEN pts no show just for today??  Holy crap.

Wow is that ever frustrating with the computers!!  My grandmother had a weird thing with watches - she couldn't wear any kind of watch at all as it would just stop after about a day or so.

Speaking about patients not showing up...  I had to go to the doctor today at 1:30 and you are supposed to give 24 hours notice.  Lat on friday, I learned of a meeting I needed to be at today at the same time.  So I called on Sat and left a message.  Does that count as 24 hours?  I would have called on friday and actually talked to someone if I could have.  Or does it need to be business hours?  Whatever it is, I'm not going to pay a late fee since I  have never missed before and they have rescheduled me several times.

I know people love their babies/kids and stuff, but do you think everyone else wants to see them?

I had a rash of it on FB this last week (tons of kid pictures), and even had some kooky woman who wanted a photo with my wife after her play proceed to show us her kids on her phone after taking the picture.  It almost felt planned.  She checked to see if the photo with the wife turned out then proceeded to scroll through kid pics.  Seriously?  Why on earth would you think I want to see your kids if I don't even know YOU?

Yeah. When people have kids, some of them go crazy and forget they have lives too. I have one friend who used to post only `My kid did this.' `My kid had a good time at the zoo.' `My kid did that.' BLAH BLAH BLAH SHADDUP!

Oh that was funneh!

I've still never heard the song.  I've only heard other people sing it, and by their renditions it could sound like almost anything.

HI TAN!  the clique was in full effect in chicago and it was an awesome time.  i would have finished the marathon no matter what, but i wouldn't have run the whole thing if it weren't for lisac, i have no doubt about that.  also, i had to install chrome on my work computer just so i could post.  effing computers are the worst.  also, tony isn't as short as you all make him sound like.

Friday night was fantastic - always a great time to actually meet TANners in person!  If only there wasn't that pesky marathon, we might have gone out dancing with Cheri...

You and Lisa did AWESOME, and great pic of you two after the race.

Tony's not THAT short, but I still haven't worn heels in about 3 years now.

Sooo much fun! I just posted a race report but not all of my pics and even stuff I typed is showing up (it shows up in the edit version but not in the published version)? So weird, BT.

I had something in there about you two prancercizing but it is one of the paragraphs that is mysteriously hidden.

Super thanks to MEH for keeping ME running - I totally think we should do it again. Ha!

Maybe next year I'll join the clique and we can all run together. I know Meh would love to listen to my stories for 4.5 hours.

It was better when random tone-deaf people with no musical ability whatsoever were singing it.

Ok I clicked since I'd never heard it either. I don't get it.
Other songs that have randomly become popular like Gangham Style and Harlem Shake - are actually/arguably good songs, good beat, fun dance, whatever. This one is none of that! Just... strange.

Exactly what I was thinking.  It's just weird, and right from the first stanza of lyrics.  How the hell is this a popular song??

Training our bodies to work efficiently in Zone 2 will help us keep our HR and pace even throughout an Ironman. This theory would hold true for the bike and run portion of an Ironman race.
