I'm going to have to find a recipee for that.... sounds good.

I make all of my own hummus. My fav right now is chipotle, but the avacado is so much like guac it is a close second.

1 can garbanzo beans, drained
1 avacado
4 - 5 garlic gloves, minced
3 tsp olive oil
1/4 c water
salt and pepper to taste
3 tbsp tahini if you have it, I did not use it.
combine in blender or food processor until smooth.

I made a white bean hummus a few months ago. YOMM.
Something like a can of northern white beans (drained), a few cloves of garlic, some fresh lemon juice, fresh italian parsley, and olive oil. Good stuff.

Sounds yummy. I did leave off 1 ingrediant which I added above. If the lemon juice is omitted, the avacados turn brown. eeewwww!

Thank you.

I do all the cooking in the house, so when I find something new that I think we'll both eat, I have to take advantage of it.

No it's from `Hotel California' ... `You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave.'

That's TAN in a nutshell. You want to run but it draws you in like a tractor beam.

Edit: I have more than 20,000 posts. I didn't get them from posting in Tri Talk.

A man was working in a factory, and one of the inspectors got a sneaking suspicion that this worker was smuggling something.

Every day when the worker left, the inspector went to him and stopped, searching through his wheelbarrow looking for contraband. Every day, he couldn't find a single thing being smuggled in the wheelbarrow.

This continued on and on for years.  After nearly twenty years of working and inspecting the two became close friends.  But every day the wheelbarrow was inspected.  Finally the inspector retired and at the retirement party, the now retired inspector called the worker over. "We have become very close friends over these years.  I cheered at your daughter's wedding.  You cried at the death of my wife.  Yet, I am still sure that you are smuggling something out of the factory.  Please dear friend, tell me, now that I can do nothing about it.  Please tell me what you were smuggling."

"Ah... that is quite easy." the worker replied. "I am indeed smuggling something.  Trusted and loyal comrade, I am smuggling wheelbarrows."

Just saw my finish line photos from my half marathon this weekend.  You can see the bloody spot on my shirt from where my nipple got rubbed raw (it was a bit chilly out that morning).  I was totally unaware of it while running.  It's plenty uncomfortable now, though.

That sounds really good.  I love guac and hummus, so I'm going to have to try this.  I really need a bigger food processor.

Morning TAN.  Just killing time before a meeting about shipping a tapir in from Singapore.  That's a tapir, not a taper.  Yanti... are you lurking?  We may need someone to accompany the shipment from Singapore to Newark... do you have any large mammal experience?  Ex's don't count.
