Exhausting. Travel and stuffs all day Saturday, Olympic tri and travel home yesterday. Had a HUGE P.R. -- fast, fun, course. Jordan Rapp was there racing, which was pretty neat.
How was yours? |

Temps were below 60 starting the bike and I didn't take my gloves/arm warmers off till mile 57. Then on the run it was warm - I mean not 100 degrees warm but warm enough that my cool wings made a difference. Then the sun went down and the temps dropped, brrrrr. HEY BATCHES I DID AN IRONMAN SATURDAY! Race Report be here: https://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=496423 |

What sucks is that even after all that run work that I've been putting in (or at least running more than I ever have before to do this whole "training" thing), that 10K STILL wasn't a PR for me. Booooo. |

Don't tell Brad, he'll be all hurt that you're stealing his thunder. I'm on the fence for buying a pair of the cool wings, but after getting seriously burnt on the bike over 2 weekends (there is NO recovering from these tan lines... NONE) I'm leaning more and more towards getting some. CONGRATS!! |

Good thing I'm thinking of going back to an M-Dot next year - these "other" 140.6 races aren't challenging at all! |

I want a challenge....not like a long sprint. Edited by bradleyd3 2013-07-29 2:05 PM |

They say it is a shortage of buses! I can actually see that. Isn't that the school being fiscally responsible? |
