Here is the shirt order that I have. Please verify your shirt sizes and type and make sure that I have it correct. I don't have complete shirt info for Kenneth Johnson (need size and type) and Kathryn Graves (missing 1 dry-fit size and type) I should have a final design in a few days and I'll post it when I get it. I'll be placing the order tomorrow afternoon so if you still want one please get your order in by 2pm tomorrow. I'm not going to be able to do the race this year due to an injury so I'll be mailing all of the shirts at least by the 29th. If you do not think they will get to you in time because of where you live , please see if someone else will be willing to receive your shirt for you. |

My shirt order is correct. -Kyle No, I've got very little feeling in my right foot and pain all up the back of my leg and it's been that way for 3 weeks. The Dr. said no running until they could figure out what's wrong so that's pretty much done me in. I've had 3 weeks to accept not doing the race but I know it'll bug me when race day arrives. |

Veteran 158 Grapevine, Texas | Subject: RE: Ironman Florida : Official Thread Hey Jay! Sorry to hear of your injury! I hope Sue's info has helped you. FWIW, my husband has/had a herniated disc in his neck and the packs of steroid REALLY helped him. In fact, saved him from having surgery. I don't know if it'd help you get to the start line okay to go, but worth a try to get on those steroids and see what it can do for you. And, can I squeak in an order? One M dri-fit athlete shirt and one XL supporter t-shirt. What's your paypal again? Or, email to get an address to send a check? I'm not sure my paypal works anymore I haven't used it in so long. |

This particular resident isn't entirely happy about our pending arrival. |

Veteran 158 Grapevine, Texas | Subject: RE: Ironman Florida : Official Thread Thanks for posting the article Kathy! And, again to jldicarlo for the AWESOME bike report! Bummed to hear that S. Thomas is still all yucky from construction and whatnot. We were hoping when we were there last year that they might have it complete for this year. It's actually REALLY helpful to me to know this. Last year we had our lightweight umbrella stroller for our then 1 year old. It was way too bumpy for that stroller, so I'll know this year to bring the jogging stroller instead! Anyone know if the finish line will be the same as last year, over by that club (blanking on the name), as opposed to out front of the Boardwalk Beach resort hotel like it was in previous years prior to last year? Thank you to Jay for the awesome shirts! Appreciate all your hard work and efforts on these. Sad you won't be joining us! |

Veteran 593 Mandeville | Subject: RE: Ironman Florida : Official Thread So, we're a few weeks out and I don't know about you, but I'm already starting to lay out race gear and check certain things. I thought maybe we could share a few last minute race details that maybe other won't think of. For example, for a big race like this I will always change the batteries in my heart rate monitors (unit and chest straps). If you haven't changed the battery in your cyclocumpter, you might want to change that too. Most people don't think about something like this until it goes our, or gives you problems. Also, if you still aren't wearing your wetsuit, you might want to soak it in water before trying it on for the first time this year. When it sits dry for a few months it tends to "shrink" a little bit, making the first time you put it on seem a bit small or tight. Soak it in water to "loosen it up" before your first OWS. Any other suggestions? |
