Both are about the same distance away- sounds like Steelhead may be a little less hilly- maybr more of a forgiving course ( as well- a larger race). I'm nervous and need to get more experince on hills!!! -any comments??? Thanks -Helen PS- interested in following others going thru the same first timers/ experienced triathletes 1/2 IM pain (oh I mean train...ing ) !!! |

The Newfoundland race has a 4K hill at the end of the loop, which is done twice. I have heard the Musselman is more forgiving. I would go with the most forgiving course for your first 1/2 IM. |

Which means I'll have to grow a pair before June 8. |
