Glad you had a great hike and had fun at volleyball, sux about the poison oak. Prayers that Stevie will be ok without too much medical intervention. As for the game. Wow. That one had the country on the edge of their seats till the last second. x2. (((Hugs))) but either from a safe distance or only if you're wearing long sleeves. How in the heck did you get it on your stomach?! That Bud commercial was pretty funny, especially given the huge craft beer industry around here. So ironic that Anheuser-Busch has a bottling plant outside Fort Collins, which at one time had the largest per-capita number of craft breweries in the country. |

I wouldn't put it past somebody organizing an event like that. Bet there'd be lots of volunteers willing to help. I think it would speed my T times! I'd probably trip over a ball. Then again, I have lots of practice tripping. My dog's favorite game, especially when I'm in a hurry, is to put her toy on the top of my foot with each step on the side she's on. My gait around the house tends to be very odd because I'm always stopping on that foot to avoid tripping and landing on her or kicking her in the head. It's very cute--and extremely annoying! Hahaha! Of course when you are in a hurry
Oh man, yesterday I came in from my long run which was cold and rainy. I was wearing shorts and my legs were ice cold. I sat on the couch and my cat came over to promptly sit on my lap per usual. When his paw touched my leg is was like he was struck by lightning. He pulled it back really fast and froze. Then he stares at his paw, which is now lifted up, and spreads all his toes apart. Then he sniffs it, and licks it then looks at my leg again like WTF??? He comes back over to my icy leg and touches it again with his paw, just to confirm, then runs like hell.
That is so funny!!!!!!!!!! |

Pro 6520 Bellingham, WA | Subject: RE: Mad Manatee Mentors CLOSED (Poptart/pet pic bribes?) Holy cow, so much going on here. Great race Erin. What a super 5k. Nice negative splits. Healing vibes for the furry ones (and the not so furry ones as well) Yanti, congrats on 12 years. You have a beautiful spirit. Matt, congrats on survival of TS. You got some great events coming up. Can't wait to see how roadie racing goes. I've thought about a tt but don't think I'll ever have the nerve to crit. Hang in there those dealing with all the snow. You can't imagine how bad my son wants to play in the snow (we are having a mild winter in the NW) And wasn't that the worst play call in NFL history, urghhh First week of my 20 week HIM plan went almost perfect. I was bad though yesterday and skipped my 90 minute trainer session for a beautiful trail run. First 1.5 miles gains 1000 feet of elevation. First time I've ever run up it comfortably (well as comfortable as was possible). Lots of switchbacks and so steep in sections you can feel your achilles tendons strettcchhh. The forests are so pretty around here they are almost impossible to resist there spell. Edited by popsracer 2015-02-02 1:39 PM |

I think it said it opens March 18. I actually have a trail here that would be perfect for training. I've done it several times. Though it's "only" 7 or 8 miles in length the climb sounds very similar to the ascent, including a boulder slide that would mimic the large steps toward the top of the ascent. Altitude? No prob! Such a cat reaction, running like hell. My other dog did something similar with my ice pack yesterday. He put his foot on it and backed up and looked at me with this totally bewildered look on his face (which he has down pat, btw). Then he kept his distance for a little while. |

Veteran 2441 Western Australia | Subject: RE: Mad Manatee Mentors CLOSED (Poptart/pet pic bribes?) Hi everyone a prayer request for the day please. We have 5 or 6 days of thunder and lightening here with a bit of rain but not enough. Our poor fire fighters are doing it very tough. Across the state (which is large, think about 4 times the size of Texas) there have been over 2,000 fires since the start of January. Most of them started by lightening or other unintentional activities but a considerable amount of them have been deliberately lit and some of them have been massive. The Fireys have done such an amazing job and there have only been a small number of house losses. Most of the fire fighters across the state are volunteers, they are exhausted. They have started bringing volunteers from over east to give the local guys a rest. But with more storms around for the next couple of days there is likely to be more fires. Please pray for rain for us and also that our fire fighters are safe. Thanks |

Might just be me, or maybe with Kim - slight chance the whole gang… but probably just me. That said, I kinda can't believe I'm going to fly to another country for a race. Seems almost insane, for like a hundred reasons, but I'm now psyched. Paying a registration has a way of breaking down certain mental barriers. Now I'm actually looking at my whole season and am trying hard not to go out and register for a crap-ton of races (let the adrenaline fade, right?). Or maybe I just should?!? Just sayin' - not really sure why I'm even posting this, but I felt something shift when I dropped the coin. Onward! Matt |

Like short guys being called "Stretch" and tall ones being "Shorty" and big ones being"Tiny". We also have the habit of lengthening short names and shortening long ones. And if you can add an O or EE to the end of something then its the way it should be, like Davo and Stevey. Onward! Matt That's all kinds of cool! You now need to spend lots of time in IKEA preparing Edited by amd723 2015-02-03 2:48 AM |

This group was awesome in giving me an extra bit of incentive in keeping going. I received encouragement both from inspires here and people on Strava. I'm glad to be here. Signed up today for what will be my first official race as a roadie. March 1st I will race in a 20k TT followed by a 25 minute Crit. It's gotta be easy if it's that short, right?! |
