Happy Wednesday everyone!

We got to have a surprise visit from the head of HR from the Atlanta office today which has made everyone just a tad on edge... myself included as the new girl who definitely isn't in love with her job!  Good thing - no call into the visitor office to "have a chat", but the bad news is that even after being brutally honest in my "new hire job satisfaction" survey, no one seems to care enough to address any of my issues.

Oh well, as long as they keep giving me a paycheque!

Well, the brutal part of the honesty may have scared them...or the stories of the cases you've been working on lately

As far as surveys, if someone isn't going to make money off of it or avoid losing money, my bet is the shredder.

Just go home and drink a large glass of __________ and watch the kitties slide around on the floor.

Excellent NCIS reference earlier, Chris!!

Finally got all the paperwork into the finance people, and hoping to hear back by the end of the week!  WOOT!!

And... heading over to the property tomorrow after work with a realtor to see what we can do in terms of any concessions, etc.  Also, since we've now chosen a different floor plan, we need to go back to the design studio to look at options again.  Wheeee!

Thankfully I'm sitting on the couch right now with my awesome hubby, a not-so-bright-but-super-cute kitty beside me, the way smarter kitty just one cushion down and a glass of wine on the other side.  Life is good.

Chris - this is the first time I've tried to synch the two. I normally don't have my phone out on runs anymore but brought it today just in case. Strava says the two are linked but I'll try disconnecting and re-connecting to see if that helps. As for timing, both were loaded after my 45 minute commute.

Erin, your Feelings Truck mash-up is awesome!!

Monica, WOOOT on the new house plans!!  A bonus is that you've already had a bunch of experience with chaos, upheaval, and things not going the way or where they should.  Having just gone through that recently is excellent training for buying a house, and a new one at that.  Way to get ahead of the curve so you know what to expect!

Like!  Looks like it's a beautiful day there.  Isn't Fall the best?!  It's been gorgeous here too, although we're getting rain here and snow in the high country today and tomorrow.

I'm taking vacation next week to take advantage of the cool weather we're having.  Lots of house hold chores, yard work and such.

TJ, are you uploading to Instagram right after your run? And to Strava as well? And your sure all your pw stuff is correct? I had an issue with mine early on, disconnected and reconnected and it was all good after that. Never did figure out why it didn't work at first.

Sorry to hijack this discussion, but what did you disconnect and reconnect?  My Strava and Instagram accounts have yet to get along even the settings say they are supposed to be pals.

TJ - great pic!!  Interesting we've been having similar temperatures in PA as you have in NM.  I guess I wrongly assumed the southwest is always hot.

I disconnected Instagram from Strava. Then connected again and it was fine. I'm not sure why that worked, but it looks like it worked for TJ also.

BTW, your pics on IG are cool!

I may have discovered the issue.  When I disconnected and reconnected, Strava has a little note mentioning that the Instagram account needs to be public in order for the pics to be shared, and I have it set as private.  Is this how you (Chris), Janyne and TJ have yours set?  I guess there is no harm in being public, right?

Find a mentor. Make a list of at least three people that you could approach for help, list your specific needs and then be courageous enough to begin asking.
