I didn't know who she was at Eagleman, but thought I was having a tough day there until I saw her in a walking boot. That's tough!

Looks like all our guys made the bike cut-off right?

Awesome!  Just a little cool-down run left!

LaurenSU02 - 2008-09-07 4:21 PM JohnnyKay, get on here so you can tell all of BT how great your sister is doing now that she's gone through the 13.1-mile mark .
she is kicking booty and currently 3rd on her AG

Haha. I know. Just wanted the proud brother to be able to post it . She's doing so great!!

She's running faster than anybody near her in her AG.  If she holds near her current pace, she may actually win it!

Still a long way to go, so hang on!

She's one of the toughest people I've ever met including several Navy Seals.  I saw her power walking Eagleman in 97 degree heat with a walking boot.  She's totally going to win this thing.

Ernie

What is her name or race number?

#2174.  Christina Kichula

She did AWESOME!!!  2nd in her age group...Awesome!!!!

Hillary is amazing. You know what's cool about her win? She won it in the swim. The #2 girl had a faster bike and run spilt, but Hillary is such a kick a$$ swimmer, that she won it there. Amazing!

a friend of mine start IMWI is there a way to find out if she got pulled from the bike course or just gave up during it?

Either way I am way proud of her for going out there attempting it. She is not your typical IM athlete

Something must've happened. His half mary split was 2:53. He can run a stand alone mary in the same time but I know that he's been having some trouble with his leg.

Wait a minute! Hold the phone!! Don't you know that "You can't win an Ironman in the swim, but you can lose it in the swim"!!

She had a great race and always has a kick a$$ swim!

There's no way to tell that a person officially DNF'd from the Ironman Live tracker. Just shows whatever splits they have and then nothing more.  It really sucks to not have it update when one has DNF'd- a lot of people I know saw my first bike split and didn't really seem to get it from my time that I didn't finish...
