Just saw that IM merchandise has been marked down 75%. All of the non-championship NAS events, and even some items in common sizes.

www.eventstores.com

Great deals - caution on the shipping, it is charged by # of items, not price, weight, etc. So adding 10 pairs of socks to the order will cost more than the price of the socks.

That brings most of the stuff down to realistic prices.

I mean, originally $21.95 for a cotton bandana?

I wish I had done any IM race so I could justify buying some of the cheap jersey's/shorts but would not feel right wearing them.

glad you posted this..I looked there a week or two ago and they only had stuff for 2 IMAZ and IMWI, I think.  I just got a Sugoi bike jersey and tri shorts for $36 total.  I'm not really crazy about the IMFL jersey design, but at that price I don't give a rip what it looks like.

I don't know what happened at IMFL, if I was just too out of it, but all I bought was some reflective tape and my kids got me jammie bottoms for after the race!  So, I was glad to be able to get SOMETHING tri-related from the race!!

I'm kind of glad it's not on sale for as much. I wouldn't be able to resist buying... and then I'd be convinced I just jinxed myself.

Keep your eye on it... they might go cheaper!

Wow, thanks for the heads-up. I just bought an IMC jacket from them, and my credit card was charged the full regular price ($149) on Jan 8th. Its now on sale for $37. We'll see what they do about rectifying this situation!

Cheap gear ... almost makes up for the mega-priced stuff I waited 50 minutes in line to pay too much for the day after the race

Seriously, thanks for the heads-up.

If I haven't paticipated in an ironman yet (2009 hopefully), would it be to cheesy to purchase some of these hot bargains. I wouldn't buy anything that had finisher on it, just some good cheap stuff to keep me motivated towards my dream.

Wear what you want.  My line is against finisher's gear as well.  I went and bought a couple California 70.3 things since I did that race.   I am doing IMAZ but am not going to buy anything until I finish it (well, maybe the day before because people buy it all... we'll see)

Is this the IM stuff from 07? Will it change for 08? I'm doing IMCali 70.3 in march and would like some stuff, but not if it's going to change this year when i actually do the race.

KSH - 2008-01-13 12:41 PM Thanks! But I was hoping it would be on sale too. Oh well.

These are different sites/stores. They have a ton of Louisville stuff, but not the same sale as the NAS store.
