You can't stop, Or I will pass ya
If you slow down, I will out last ya
But when you're down, You won't find me laughing
Just one question I might ask ya
And it might sound like a disaster
Can you make this thing go faster?

"It never gets easier.  You just get faster."  Greg LeMond

"The wind is your friend.  When it's with you, it makes you faster.  When it's against you, it makes you stronger."  I can't remember where I read this one, maybe here.

"The best way to predict the future is to invent it" (Alan Kay) Loosely translated as 'get off your @ss and train if you want to race hard'!

"In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's mind there are few." (Shunryu Suzuki)  How true for when we all started training and had a million questions.

not a quote but SUAT = Shut Up And Train. This has helped me get through some sessions when I was unmotivated or feeling lazy. When racing I just replace the Train for Race...

soo true! The only race that I DNF'd in 12 years of racing, ended with an ambulance trip to the ER after landing on my head in a bike crash!

You don't have to win, you just have to TRI.

My Daughter's favorite (she's 14): 3 Sports, 1 Race...That's how I roll.

The rest of my favorites aren't "clean."

Somewhere in the world there is someone training harder than you.

When you race him, he will beat you.

From some BT sig, it helps me get off my a**

"PR or ER" -- the race day mantra of the group I train with.

"DNF makes baby Jesus cry" -- spotted on a ladies shirt during IMMOO 2008. If anybody knows where I can find one of these please pm me or post here.

My favorite running one for females is "If you can read the back of my shirt, a girl is beating you."

LOVE IT! Need to get that on a shirt!

No one mentioned "We Need More Cowbell!"

I also like "Ride it like you stole it!"
