The events for the weekend are starting to come together.  Friday night will be the race sponsored Athlete Reception from 6-9 pm.  We will have a BT meeting place so we can all get together, there are several local bars/resturants within walking distance for those who'd like to continue the party after the reception.

Saturday is mandatory bike check in from 12-8 pm and the Meek and Mighty race.

I talked to the owner of the bed and breakfast where I am staying and she is offering to let her chef do a pasta buffet for us at the house.  It would cost roughly $10-15/plate, all you can eat,  (bring your own alcohol).  The veranda comfortably holds ~60 people, so there is plenty of room.  The house is located directly across the street from Vinoy Park and the race start.   Need to get a head count on those interested in this.

This is about the only way I can figure we can all eat together and have a casual, relaxed dinner.  I don't think we could get all of us  into any of the restuarants that night, and this will likely be less expensive .

I am open to suggestions, please PM me ASAP with any thoughts.

Pasta dinner Saturday with all of us (4 total) sounds fine.  FYI, Friday we'll leave here as soon as we can (maybe even try to get the middle schooler out a little early to get there, but probably won't be until about 7:30 or 8PM or so.

Yay, count Barry and me in as well! Can't wait to meet everyone. We should make BT shirts or something so we look like those ridiculous tourists at Disney World.

I've got the Team in Training pasta party Saturday night.  What other BT'ers will be there?  You'll be sitting with your chapter teammates.

Count me in for the pasta dinner. Just one, though I'll eat like two.

So, what name do we put on the nametags? Our "real" names? Or BT nicknames? :D

I've already started making up nametags!!   I was going to put the avatar on it, since most people know that, BUT everyone keeps changing theirs!!  I will put your screen name and then your real name.

I am glad to see that there are other BT'ers out there associated with TNT!  I will also be at the TNT pasta party Saturday night!  There are only going to be 2 of us from the Augusta Chaper, but we're meeting up with the Atlanta group.

Hello fellow BTer’s!  St. Anthony’s is quickly approaching and I hope you are as excited as I am.  It is going to be a great time!

I need a final confirmation of who will be attending the BT Pasta Dinner on Saturday April 23 to firm up with the caterer. I have attached a copy of the menu for you to review.  Dinner will start at at La Veranda Bed & Breakfast.

If you will be attending I need to receive payment no later than Friday April 15, 2005 in order to reserve your place.     You can either mail me a check or email me a credit card number.  The owner of the bed and breakfast has offered to run individual credit cards with an additional $1 fee.

Please PM or email me ASAP if you will attend, how many in your party, and form of payment. Thank you in advance for your prompt response.  I’m looking forward to meeting everyone for a fantastic race!!

Just a little tidbit I discovered.  Paypal assesses a $1 charge for each transaction, so, if you're using paypal, please add that $1 to your total.  Thanks!!
